Yu Gi Oh -Oneshots- REQUESTS [CLOSED] (X Reader)

Yami Yugi X Reader

The door to the game shop opened, ringing the bell. You glanced around, looking for the owner, but no one was at the counter. You decided to look around, and hopefully find some Duel Monsters cards. The Regional Championships were coming up, and you were planning to compete. 

You were browing the Duel Monsters cards when you heard someone coe down the stairs and into the shop. You looked up, expecting to see an adult, but instead saw a boy your age, with multicoloured, spiky hair and a golden puzzle around his neck.

When he saw you, he smiled.

"I knew I heard someone come in." he grinned. You couldn't help but smile shyly back.

"Ah, yeah. Hi." you laughed, putting a booster pack of cards back on the shelf. He noticed what you were looking at and walked over to you, picking up the same pack that you had just put down.

"Dark Magician Booster Pack?" he read outloud, "Nice choice, my best card is the Dark Magician!" he laughed, holding his hand out for a high five. You obliged shyly, tapping your hand against his.

"Actually, I tend to use a dragon based deck, but I thought it would be good to change things up a bit." you told him, taking your deck out of your pocket and handing it to him. Usually, you wouldn't trust a complete stranger with your deck, but he seemed like a trustworthy person.

His violet eyes scanned over your cards, examining them with interest.

Finally, he handed your cards back to you.

"You have a good, strong deck," he said, "You'll go far, I'm sure." he smiled kindly at you. You were just about to thank him when the door burst open to reveal an old man carrying countless boxes. The unknown boy rushed to help him, and, when they stood next to each other, you could see their resembelance. They had the same eyes, and the same spiky hair.

"Grandpa!" the boy cried, as the old man stumbled a bit. You rushed to catch him, and helped him steady himself.

"Thank you." he smiled gratefully at you.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting, but I'm sure Yugi was of help to you." he man continued, gesturing to the mystery boy. Yugi smiled at you.

"She has a really strong deck, Gramps. I think that a certain pack would really benefit her," Yugi reached over to the cards, scanning the, before picking up the Spellcaster booster pack. He pushed it into your hands, closing your hands around the cards for you. 

"No need to pay- my treat!" he winked, and you just stood there, stunned. Suddenly, your phone rang. You whispered an 'excuse me for a moment'to Yugi and his Grandpa, before putting your phone to your ear.

"Y/N! Your mum... she fainted at work and was rushed to the hosptital! She came round a few minutes ago, but she wants to see you!" you big brother practically yelled in your ears. You began to panic, and you could see Yugi and his Grandpa looking at you with concerned expressions. You ended the call, and turned to the two men standing by the door. 

"I'm sorry, I have to leave. My mum isn't well, and I need to go and visit her. Here." you handed the cards back to Yugi. "You're so kind, but I can't take these. It wouldn't be right." you apologized, smiling sheepishly.

"I'm sure I'll be back soon!" you promised them, before exiting the shop, turning back to wave.

But unknown to you, on your way out, Yugi had slipped the cards into your back pocket.
