Seto Kaiba X Reader

"It's almost Christmas!" Mokuba squealed, as you turned his bedroom light off.

You laughed at his childishness. "No peeking! And you can't wake us up until at least 7am, okay? Goodnight!" 
"Night!"

The stairs creaked a little as you made your way downstairs, where your boyfriend, Seto Kaiba, sat in amongst  a pile of wrapped and unwrapped presents. Beside him, the fire crackled and illuminated every feature on his face. 

"Y/N, help me with these... I didn't know I'd bought quite so many presents..." Seto sighed.  You sat down beside him, chuckling to yourself. Picking up a roll of wrapping paper, you started your long task of wrapping the presents you and Seto had bought for his little brother. 

Finally, you had finished. Setting down the last gift, you stepped back to admire the huge pile of presents.

"Man, Mokuba is one spoilt kid." you commented. Just then, Kaiba entered holding two mugs of hot chocolate. You hadn't even noticed he had left the room. 

"Yeah, but that's what family are for, right?" he answered. The both of you laughed. 

"I can't imagine how many there'll be after Santa visits," joked Y/N. Seto smiled, and started putting the wrapped gifts under the shining Christmas tree. They piled up to the lower branches, obscuring some colourful lights. The tree itself was grand, reaching up to the first floor roof of the cabin the three of you were staying in. Shiny ornaments of red, green, blue, gold, silver and every colour imaginable hung from the broad branches. 

The sudden voices of the TV jolted you out of your thought and found Kaiba sat on the leather sofa, flicking through channels aimlessly.

"It's all very well, spending Christmas in a log cabin in the woods, but there's terrible reception. I shall get my men to fix it, immediately-"

"Seto, you do realise that Christmas is not about technology, nor social media or funny videos, but about family, friends and being social. Leave it for now- besides, your employees must want to be with their family on Christmas Eve," you glanced at the TV. "And see- a classic Christmas movie. Let's watch that, and then go to sleep. After all, tomorrow is sure to be a day to remember." 

And with the end of your impromptu speech, you flopped down onto the sofa beside your speechless boyfriend. 

"Ooh, this is my favourite part!" you were now completely immersed in the movie. Kaiba smiled at how happy you were, laughing at the funny parts and watching intently when the characters had an argument.  Sometimes, he thought, Y/N seemed more childish than Mokuba! He was glad he got along- Mokuba had always been adamant about the qualities in Seto's girlfriends: kind, pretty, smart, have lots of sweets (for Mokuba, obviously) and be able to make Seto laugh. Not the sort of laugh when he ridiculed Joey, mind you. 

"That movie gets better every time I watch it!" Y/N exclaimed as the closing credits started, standing up and stretching. 

Kaiba nodded, and glanced at the clock. 

"Look at the time. Time flies when you're watching Christmas movies, I suppose. We'd better go to bed ourselves, Y/N." he said. You nodded. 

"Come on, then."  You started turning lights off around you, Seto following you up the stairs.

"Goodnight, Seto."

"Goodnight, Y/N."
