Yu Gi Oh -Oneshots- REQUESTS [CLOSED] (X Reader)

Atticus X Reader

Glancing around, you set your suitcase down in your new dorm, and you immediately spotted a letter on your new bed. 

Perching on the edge of your bed, you carefully tore open the letter, scanning quickly before tossing it aside. Kicking your suitcase off the bed to make room for your legs, you pulled out your phone and turned the volume up fully before playing Jay park's  'Me Like Yuh'and relaxing. 

You were so busy singing along that you barely registered the rapidly approaching footsteps to your new dorm. You brushed it off, thinking that they were going to another room.

Just as the chorus came on, your door was flung open, and you shot upright and saw an attractive male with longish brown hair and sparkling brown eyes.

You were about to yell at him for barging in unannounced but you were immediately silenced when he started to dramatically sing and dance to Jay Park's song, and you watched in stunned silence.

When it came round to the chorus again, he approached you, still singing and dancing, and grabbed your hand, pulling you up from your sitting position on your bed.

He spun you round, trying to get you to dance, and before long you gave in and started dancing with him, singing and laughing with the stranger.

All too soon, the song came to an end, and the both of you leant against each other, panting and laughing. You sank to the floor, giggling, and looked up at the male with a genuine smile, your eyes barely visible.

He sat down next to you, producing a bottle of water from his Obelisk blue jacket. You drank it gratefully, before setting it down in between the two of you.

"So... what was that all about?" you asked him, still smiling slightly.

"Ah, I was just visiting my sister down the hall when I heard my favourite song playing, and I just had to join in!" he exclaimed, laughing.

"Oh my god same, it's so good!" you agreed.

"By the way, I'm Atticus." he introduced himself.

"Y/N." you replied.

"You must be new here, your room is completely bare." Atticus noticed.

"Yeah, but I was tired so I decided to take a break before unpacking." you explained. He stood up, holding his hand out to you. You took it, wondering what he was up to now.

"I'll help you unpack, then!" he said cheerfully, picking up your suitcase and unzipping it.

"Thanks, but let me do just one thing first..." You grabbed your phone and selected Jay Park's 'All I Wanna Do'.

"YAS!" Atticus screamed, singing the words immediately. Laughing, you joined in, and the both of you unpacked your stuff in record time, singing along to a few more songs, including Gucci by Jessi and Roll Deep by Hyuna.

You and Atticus knew all the words, and you both had a blast singing and dancing to your favourite songs.

"Phew!" you sighed, smiling, as you and your new friend fell back onto your bed, gasping for breath from all of your dancing and singing.

You turned to face Atticus and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks for helping, Atticus. I really appreciate it, my new friend."

"Best friend." he corrected smiling. He sat up with effort, and pulled you up as well. He slid an arm around your shoulders and opened your rooms door.

"Come on, I'll show you around. Oh, and I HAVE to introduce you to my sister Alexis!" he said happily, and you nodded, beaming.

Duel Academy was going to be so much fun, you reckoned.

And you even had a new best friend to spend your free time with.
