Mahad X Reader

"Woah. This place is huge." you grinned to yourself, adjusting your cosplay wig and staring in wonder at the crowd of duelists below you. 

"It's Duel Con, what did you expect, Y/N?" your friend Bastion, who was dressed as Elemental Hero Sparkman, teased you. 

You and your friends were dressed as some of the main Elemental Heroes- yourself as Burstinatrix and the others as Avion, Sparkman, BubbleMan and Clayman.

"Shut up, man." you elbowed him sarcastically. 

"Okay, guys!" Jaden, or Elemental Hero Avion, yelled: "Let's all meet back here in an hour!"

You all agreed and spilt off in separate directions. You ended up with Jaden, and the both of you decided to go explore the food court before anything else.

"I still can't believe your fake six pack." you snorted as Jaden looked for snacks. He'd ended up making a foam six pack and sticking it onto his costume.

"Not my fault I have better things to do than spend four hours in the gym every day," he shrugged, paying for a huge lollipop that you knew he would never finish.

"You mean you spend so much time sleeping that you don't have time to do anything else?" you corrected, smirking. 

"Shut up, Y/N!" Jaden complained.  

The two of you explored Duel Con for another half hour, trying new things and buying cute stuffed toys.

"How many toys do you need?" you asked Jaden in disbelief as he struggled to carry at least six plushies.

"More." he grunted, barely able to see over the pile. You sighed, swinging your Burstinatrix toy by its arm as you walked. 

"Let's take a seat for a minute and rearrange our stuff, so maybe you won't balance them all so precariously." Without waiting, you collapsed onto a bench. Letting out a breath of relief, Jaden dropped his stuffed duel monsters next to you and took a seat himself. 

Whilst waiting for Jaden to stuff his toys into your backpack that you lent him, you looked up from your phone and caught a glimpse of you and Jaden in a nearby mirror. 

"Hey, Jay! Let's take a mirror picture." you called him over. The two of you made a peace sign and you quickly snapped a photo. 

"Aw, my phone kind of covers my makeup." you sighed, peering closely at your phone screen. 

"Ask someone to take a picture, then." Jaden suggested, glancing around. 

"'Kay." you spotted a friendly looking man walking past, and before you could change your mind you intercepted him quickly. 

"Excuse me, could you take a picture of me and my friend for us?" you asked politely.

"Of course." he smiled, and you handed him your phone and led him over to Jaden, who was playing on his phone. You flicked on the head to get his attention and gestured for him to join you in front of a large Duel Con sign. 

You leant an arm on Jadens shoulder and flashed another peace sign, as did he over your shoulder. 

The purple haired man took a picture and handed your phone back for you to review it. Your eyes lit up. 

"Thank you, this is awesome!" you gushed, showing the photo to Jaden, who made an impressed face before returning to guarding his backpack of stuffed toys. 

"No problem, I'm glad you like it. Take care!" the man waved and disappeared into the bustling crowd. 

"Have a great day!" you called after him. You checked the time, and realised it was almost time to rendezvous with your cosplay group.
