Jaden Yuki X Reader

"Y/N!" Dr Crowler screeched, pointing at the door.

"GET OUT OF MY CLASSROM YOU SLIFER SLACKER!"

Chuckling, you rose from your seat, grabbed your bag and exited the classroom, giving a little wave to your classmates at the door. 

You sat splayed out on the steps, listening to music through your headphones. Yawning, you checked your notifications. Nothing. You shrugged off your red jacket , putting it over your head in an attempt to block out the sunlight. But whilst you had been kicked out of class too soon to actually learn anything, you did learn one thing that moment-

That jackets aren't good at blocking the sunlight (or haters).

"Hey, slacker. Get kicked out of class again?" a familiar voice sneered.

"You know it, mate." you grinned, showcasing your exotic British accent. At least, it was exotic in Duel Academy. You ruffled your white hair, sending it flying everywhere, just the way you liked it.

"Why am I not surprised." Chazz sneered, folding his arms and leaning against a doorframe.

"I wonder what happened when your parents made you; you're nothing like them or your brother." he mused. You scowled.

"LISTEN HERE YOU LITTLE CRAP, JUST CAUSE I'M NOT LIKE RYOU DOESN'T MEAN I'M NOT PART OF THE FAMILY, OKAY?!" you exploded, balling up you fists.

"Leave her alone, Chazz." a voice came from behind you.

"Oh look, another slacker- one who also got kicked out of class I assume?" Chazz laughed.

"So how come you're out here, Chazz?" Jaden asked. Chazz smirked.

"I was delivering a message to Chancellor Shepherd, obviously. There's no way I could ever get kicked out of class." he waved a piece of paper around in the air.

"Better get going then, Chazz," Jaden laughed. "Class is almost over!"

Chazz's face paled as he realised that Jaden was right.

"Later, slackers!" was the only thing he said before hurrying to the Chancellors office. 

You snorted.

"Hey, that horrible smell is gone." you joked, earning a few chuckles from Jaden. He sat down next to you. 

"You know," he said, leaning close to you, "It doesn't matter whether you're like your brother or not... because I'll like you anyway!" he smiled, finally closing the gap.

You sat there, stunned, before responding and kissing back.

The two of you sat there for a while, enjoying the moment.

Suddenly, students began to stream out of their classes. The two of you hurriedly pulled apart, but not before some students had taken photos on their phones. Whispers echoed off the hallway walls.

"OMG!"

"Are they together?"

"What should their ship name be?"

"So cuteee!"

"She stole Jaden!"

Those were among the many conversations you heard pieces of, before Dr Crowler came striding down the hall.

"JADEN YUKI AND Y/F/N! PUBLIC DISPLAYS OF AFFECTION ARE PUNISHABLE BY DETENTION, SO GET YOUR SLIFER DERRIERE'S DOWN TO DETENTION RIGHT THIS INSTANT!" He bellowed, turning red in the face. You and Jaden looked at each other with a really? look on your faces.

"Might as well give them something more to gossip about..." you whispered. Jaden grinned, and your lips connected briefly. The kiss only lasted a few seconds before Dr Crowler pulled you apart by your red collars.

"RIGHT!" he yelled, "BOTH OF YOU TO SEPARATE DETENTION ROOMS!"

Jaden winked at you.

"See ya later, Y/N."
