Jack^^^ it's Colton Haynes (this picture is from a while ago, maybe even pre-Teen Wolf days. Definitely pre-Arrow days). I love him so much okay.

THE PAST

•IZZY'S POV•

•Flashback: Eleven Years Old•

The door flew open and my father stumbled into the house, "Honey I'm home!" He slurred, pulling off his shoes and chucking the pair in random directions.

Great, he'd been drinking again. The pungent smell of alcohol pierced my nose and reminded me why I would never lay a finger on a drink.

"Where's your mother Izzy?" He asked looking around with crazed eyes as he walked up to where I was sitting.

"Not here" I lied, trying to make myself as small as possible.

He raised a fist. I knew he was going to hit me, but then a shout came from the top of the staircase.

"I'm here, don't touch my daughter, please" my mother called as she started down the stairs.

"Mother" I whispered grabbing her hand as she gracefully walked past me.

She sent a small smile in my direction. "It's okay darling, now go upstairs and try to get some rest."

My father grabbed her as I rushed up the stairs tears leaking out of my eyes and streaming down my face. I slumped onto my bed, my eyes fluttered closed. I fell asleep to my mother screaming and the clock on the wall ticking away.

•Flashback Ends•

The worst thing about night was that sleep would eventually win. And when it won, I would have to relive those memories I was trying so hard to forget. No matter how hard I tired, I couldn't bring myself forget the pain. I couldn't bring myself to forget my father. Because the pain made me who I am. It made me stronger.

And alongside the bad memories that my father provided, there were also good ones. Times when he wasn't always drunk, and he would take me to the park to play with my friends or drive me to the ice skating rink and then out for ice creams afterwards. It's the good times that I can't risk losing just because I can't live with the bad ones.

The darkness that swallows my room at night doesn't scare me. It never has. But just because I don't see the monsters, doesn't mean they're not there. But if I try hard enough, I can block them out. And I will keep trying to do just that.

I heard shouts from the streets in front of me and nearly fell off the wall where I sat, reading a book. Not because Jason stood there, looking extremely sexy in his black jeans, tight fitted white top and black leather jacket. (Although it might've been one of the reasons). No, it was because laughing with him was Jack. My twin brother Jack. I placed my book on the wall next to me and lent forward to try and hear what they were saying, I guess you can imagine what that lead to.

"Seriously?" I groaned as I picked myself off the ground for the billionth time in my life. If I decided to marry the ground right now, I'm sure it wouldn't object. We have become quite acquainted over the years. I glanced up, Jack and Jason were already running over to check if I was alright. Before they even reached me I put up both hands and said, "I'm fine."

The two boys shared a look before Jason 'introduced' me to Jack.
"Izzy this is Jack, Jack this is Izzy." He paused for a moment looking back and forth between me and my brother. "You two look scarily similar." He stated, but thankfully he shrugged it off.

"Hey Izzy, we're going to the park now. Would you like to come?" Jason asked fumbling with the straps on his bag as if he was nervous about something.
"Yeah, sure" I replied.
I walked down the road after them, completely forgetting about the book I had left on the wall.

We stayed at the park chasing each other around, Jack always won and was never caught once. He would definetly make the athletic team at our school, aside from Jason, not many boys could run long distance and keep up the pace. We stayed in the park for a long time, that is until the heavens opened up and we all got soaked, it tends to do that alot these days. We sprinted towards the climbing frame and dived under it.

"I guess we'll have to stay here then. Wait, where's Jack?" I asked, finally noticing that he wasn't next to me.
"I don't know, I think he ran the other way." Jason replied after looking over his shoulder. Jack was sitting in the nice warm shop, already holding a cup of hot chocolate in his hands. He stuck out his tongue at us, a wide grin spread across his face.

He must be warm in there. I thought to myself. Wrapping my arms around myself, I shivered. It was cold and wet even under the metal shelter.

I looked at Jason. His jacket was in his outstretched arms, "here, take it."
I shook my head, "no, you'll be cold"
"Here I am trying to be a gentleman and you try to stop me? Take it, or I'll make you wear it." He insisted and shoved the jacket in my face.
"Fine." I grumbled, pulling the jacket on whilst trying to ignore the smirk on his sexy face.

Wait, what! Jason was not sexy. I couldn't think of him like that. But he did wear that smirk well. I blushed, glad that my face was hidden and that Jason wasn't telepathic. The jacket smelt like Jason, and I couldn't help but bring the sleeve of his jacket close to my face and keep it there.

•JASONS POV•

"Izzy, the rain has stopped, I should get you home" I said. She's so beautiful. I thought. The sky I mean, of course. The sunset was nearly finished and the sky was a mixture of pink, orange, yellow and red, soon it would leave the world in darkness.

"Oh, where's Jack?" She asked, pulling my jacket closer around her.
I frowned, why did she keep asking about him? They'd only met a few hours ago. Did she like him? Did he like her? I would have to tell him to back off sometime, if he lead her on.
"Jason?"
"Oh, um he left the café awhile ago, come on let's get you home." I held my hand out for her to take, and when she did I pulled her to her feet.

We walked back to the car in a comfortable silence.

Once we reached her house I realised that our hands were still intertwined, I looked at Izzy who was watching our hands as if they were aliens under inspection. I nearly laughed at her cute frown. She pulled her hand away and I immediately missed the warmth.
"T-thanks for walking me home" Izzy stuttered, her cheeks still red from holding my hand.
"You're welcome, thanks for joining Jack and I today, I had fun." I smiled at her and waved, before continuing down the road. "Oh, and Izzy?" I shouted, she turned around, her hand on the door handle. "See you at school"

I quickly walked off feeling a little foolish. I don't know what I was going to say, but it definitely wasn't that. I sounded like a young schoolboy talking to his crush.

And as I walked down the dark road and felt the cold air hit me like a knife, I realised that Izzy still had my favourite jacket. And maybe, I'd just let her keep it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's a bit short, I think but I don't know about Jason's point of view...

Sorry about the people who have been waiting for a long time, like 5-10 months. I only came back to it about 2 months ago, my only two excuses are that I forgot, and writers block is just annoying (other writers will understand what I mean). I know what to say but not how to say it.

Anyway... keep reading, voting and commenting!
