THE OTHERS: PART ONE

Quick Recap:

"You're shirtless and soaking, I don't want my top to become transparent and neither do you." I complained, trying to wriggle out from under him.

"Well, I don't know. I don't think I'd mind." Jason smirked.

"But there are other guys at this school." I groaned.

"I guess I'll have to kidnap you then." He joked, brushing a stray hair from my head back behind my ear.

I knew that he was about to get off me, but before he did, he lowered his face towards mine and our lips met.

Once he stood up I pulled his clothes out of my bag and handed them over.

"Thanks, don't worry I can't see through your top." He said, pulling his own t-shirt over his head.

"Well that's a relief, I guess you don't have to kidnap me then."

We both laughed and said goodbye to each other before we set off in different directions to get to our afternoon classes.

I was glad that Jenna seemed nice, and no longer interested in Jason. In fact, I caught her looking at my brother quite a few times. Maybe I could do some match making! That would be fun, and Jack looked like he might like Jenna. I would have to ask him about that later.

It looked like Jenna wouldn't be a problem between me and Jason, and I suspected that we would become good friends in the near future. With that happy thought in my mind I continued down the hallway to start an afternoon of lessons, ready to face whatever the teachers threw at me.

•TYLER'S POV•

The countdown for The Dance had begun. It was ten days away and everyone was starting to panic about getting ready. For the girls the panic had set in now, for the boys? Well let's just say they start worrying about it a day or two before the actual thing.

I, unlike the rest of the male population at my school, had already brought my suit, tie and shoes. I had arranged for flowers to be delivered to Natalia's house a few hours before I was meant to pick her up and I made my sister agree to drive us there and back.

Jason had offered me a lift, his brother was taking some people, but I had declined. I doubt Natalia would want to sit in a car with Jason and Izzy anyway. I wonder if Jason has even asked Izzy yet, he said he would.

I looked out the window, the trees and fields, cars and the people, all flew by as the train ran along the track. The automated voice called out my destination and I stood up.

As I started my walk home from the station with music blasting in my ears, I told myself that I would save up for a moped or a 50cc scooter. I have always wanted my own vehicle because first of all, public transport in London sucks. Secondly, it rains on a daily basis in Winter, so I'd rather get home quicker instead of walking in the pouring rain, hail or snow.

Jason had a moped, it was an all black one with space for two people to sit on it, which was useful. It even had a compartment to put a spare helmet in. I wasn't jealous. He was my best friend for at least a year and even though he got the girl of my dreams and the vehicle of my dreams, I still failed to dislike him because his attitude towards everything made it impossible to even consider hating him.

And that's what Izzy likes about him, what Natalia likes about him and what the rest of the school likes about him.

When he moved to England I remember taking him under my wing and helping him make friends. Although I was the one trying to improve his life, he was the one who always inspired me, and that's what made us become so close.
