 •JASON'S POV•

I walked slowly down the stairs and out of the house, still thinking of Jenna.

My older brother is old enough to drive and takes me to school every morning. He was already locked in conversation with Izzy. I had to admit it. That boy had a way with his words. Jack was already sitting in the back with Izzy so I hopped into the front next to my brother. At least I could control the music from here. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to find Izzy smiling at me as if the conversation we had in her room a few minutes before had never happened.

"Jason, you have a brother called Mason? What were your parents thinking?" She asked laughing.

"I don't think they were thinking" Mason stated, sending Izzy and Jack into a fit of giggles, even though it was not funny at all.

"Well drive Mason, we're going to be late!" I shouted, playfully whacking over the head with a plastic coke bottle that had been left lying on my car seat when I got in.

And so he started the car and we drove to school, Jack, Izzy and Mason singing along to the radio and I was just sitting there, wrapped up in my own little world.

•IZZY'S POV•

I looked at Mason in the rear view mirror as he sang along to the songs on the radio. His strong jawline, golden eyes and dark hair that swept across his face looked remarkably like Jason. They were so similar, it was as if they were twins. At that moment they laughed unanimously and the same cheeky widespread grin occupied both of their faces. I caught Jason watching me in the mirror and smiled at him, which he returned, his eyes twinkling.
A shiver went up my back, not one of those 'that is so creepy' shivers, but a nice shiver that did more than confirm how I felt about him. I didn't believe it though, I was still so sure that it was just a tiny little crush and Jason would never ever even think about liking me the way I liked him. But I didn't know how much I liked him, or how far I was going to let this go before I back down with a broken heart. Because that is all that's going to be left of me if I let him come closer. His grip on my heart would break it, and I would be left to pick up the pieces.
I wondered if my twin, Jack had ever loved anyone, or if he ever would.
I wondered how much Jason loved the girl in the picture 'Jenna' or if he will ever move past her.
I wondered if he smiled at me, the way he did at every other girl he passed by or if he was only nice to me because in the beginning he wasn't.
I wanted to think about so many different things, but I couldn't, because Mason had already pulled up in front of our school and car doors were being opened.
Mine was flung open and a charming smile greeted me. Jason held out his hand, "My lady" he whispered as he bowed, "let me help your highness out"
"Your highness my arse" I muttered but took his hand anyway as I climbed out of the car and asked, "what do you want Jason?"
"You." He answered wriggling his eyebrows suggestively.
I raised my eyebrow before repeating the question.
He stopped his act immediately and began to look more serious, "Izzy, I need you to stay away from Natalia today and tomorrow... and probably for the rest of your life." He said.
I tried to find any sign of him joking, but I couldn't. "Why?"
"Just because, I broke up with her yesterday and she might blame you. We have been together for one and a half years, so she might be angry and upset. I don't want her to go anywhere near you okay?" Jason replied before smiling brightly at me and then walking off to Jack.
I was left staring at him, wondering what made him break up his relationship with Natalia but never coming to a conclusion. But I didn't mind, as long as they weren't together, I would have a chance.
