The Crystals Emerge

Chapter 7: Arron

Xavier, Zona, and Haze were walking down the street.

"Hey Xavier, why are we going back to school again?" said Haze.

"I already told you, we are tracking another Crystal, and Joshua says that it's around the school,"

"Oh,but can't w-"

"Be quiet, we are going past Arron's house."

"Why do you not like Arron?" said Haze.

"I don't want to talk about it,"

When they were passing by Arron's house, Arron came out with a bag of garbage. Arron has short brown hair, brown eyes, and white skin color, and he wore glasses. Arron looked over at Xavier and started to walk to him. Arron threw the garbage away and said, "hey Xavier!"

Xavier gave Arron a dirty look. "Come on guys, let's go." Xavier, Haze,and Zona started to walk away from Arron.

Arron said, "Xavier, why do you not like me?"

Xavier turned around to face Arron and said, "you know why I don't like you. Don't you remember, Arron?" Arron had a sad look on his face."Yeah, that's what I thought." said Xavier. Xavier turned back around and started walking away. Zona and Haze followed him.

"Geez dude, why are you so harsh on him?" said Haze.

"Haze,if you knew what he did to me, you would understand. We're getting close."

"How do you know?" said Zona.

"Joshua told me. Ever since I grabbed Joshua, he's always talking to me in my thoughts."

Zona looked amazed. "You can do that!?"

"Yup.Okay, we're here."

"So the Crystal is somewhere in the school, right?" said Haze.

"It should be somewhere in here," said Xavier.

"So how are we going to get in?" said Haze.

"I didn't think of that," spoke Xavier.

"Way ahead of you guys," said Zona. She was holding a key in her hand.

"Where did you get that?" said Haze.

"Oh,I got detention, so when the principal wasn't looking,I grabbed his key."

"That's pretty cool," said Haze.

"I know, right!" She unlocked the school door.

"I think we should stay together," said Xavier.

"Sounds good to me," said Haze.

"Me too," said Zona.

The group looked everywhere, but they couldn't find it. "Is it even here?" said Haze.

"It has to be here," said Xavier.

"Oh,are you looking for me?"

Xavier looked behind him. It was a Crystal that was made of glass. The Crystal had shards of glass as its feet and hands, and its eyes were smear marks also it has a human shaped body.

"What do we do?" said Haze.

"Did you guys bring your weapons?" said Xavier.

"I brought mine," said Haze.

"I brought mine, too," said Zona.

"Okay,then make your weapons touch Joshua's Crystal so they can get powerful."

"Got it," said Zona and Haze. All three of them grabbed their weapons and made them touch the Crystal.

"It's time to take care of the Crystal," said Xavier.

Haze grabbed his gun and shot the glass Crystal. The glass Crystal started to lose some of its shards.

"You need to try better than that!" The glass Crystal shot some shards of glass out of its hands. The shards pinned down Haze to the wall.

Xavier charged at it. A beam of light came out of a window, reflected off of the glass Crystal, and blinded Xavier. Xavier stopped in his tracks and fell on the ground. He covered his eyes and kept saying 'ow.'

"You are not allowed to hurt my friends and get away with it."

"Oh?What are you going to do, pull out a gun or a bat?"

"Nope,I have something better than that." Zona opened her bag and pulled out her mace.

"What's that?" said the glass Crystal.

"It's a mace. You are going down." Zona started swinging the mace around and threw it at the Glass Crystal. The Glass Crystal screamed and shattered into pieces. Its Crystal fell on the ground.

She ran over and picked it up. "Cool, now I have one."

"Darn it, now I don't have one," said Haze. Xavier helped Haze get unstuck from the shards.

Arron ran over to Xavier. "That was incredible!"

"Waita second, where did you come from?"

"Well, see, I was following you. I wanted to know what I did to you."

"Seriously?You followed me to just ask what you did to me? Unbelievable!"

"I know, but can you really just tell me what I did to you?" said Arron.

"You seriously don't remember? You don't remember making fun of me and how tall I was at such a young age a couple years back? You don't remember how you embarrassed me in front of everyone at my 10thbirthday party? Arron, I thought I could trust you, but that day I told you something important and you told everyone about my secret."

"What did I tell everyone?" said Arron.

Xavier started to cry. "You told everyone that I have slight bipolar disorder. Some of those side effects were that I could go out of it at any time. You told everyone that I could have a nervous breakdown, that I could kill them. You know that wasn't true, I never told you that I could go crazy and kill someone. I only told you that I could Bust out in laughter or bust out in crying sometimes. When you told everyone that, I lost all of my old friends. They all called me a freak. That's when I met Zona and Haze. I felt better. Now every single time I see you all of my memories come back, and I get really upset. So can you please not talk to me?"

Arron felt horrible. "I didn't know, I was just so excited that you would trust me with something like that. So I told some of your friends,and right after I told them, I realized that I said stuff that wasn't true and stuff that you didn't want me to tell people about. I was just about to say that I was joking or something like that, but it was too late. All of the kids already told their parents about it.They didn't stay for so much long after that. Xavier, I am really sorry. It was a accident. Could you ever forgive me?"

"Of course I can. I just wanted to hear you say sorry."

Zona and Haze were in complete shock.
