The Crystals Emerge

Chapter 14: Mother Nature

Xavier turned on the TV and sat down on the couch. On the TV there was a report about trees growing in highways, houses, even food stores.

"Hey Joshua, this seems like a Crystal problem, am I right?"

"Yes,but were is the Crystal hiding?" said Joshua.

"I'll call Zona and Milze to come over." said Xavier.

Zona and Milze showed up to Xavier's house a hour later.

"Okay guys. How are we going to find this Crystal?" asked Xavier.

Zona sat down on the chair in the living room. Milze sat down next to Xavier on the couch.

"We can see were it first started. It might be there," said Zona.

"It might be there, but how will we find that place?" asked Xavier.

"Where did the trees start coming up at first?" asked Milze.

"It started at the park, but trees are covering almost the whole town now, so I don't know how we're going to find it," said Xavier.

"I know!" shouted Zona. "You guys know that at the park they have this flag there that's taller then any tree. We can find that."

"Sounds like a great idea, Zona," said Xavier.

"Let's go then," said Milze.

"Wait.How are we going to see the flag if we're going to walk?"

"Oh, silly Xavier.We're going to climb the trees and jump to each one," said Zona.

"Hey Boss, would you lie to me?" asked June.

"Of course not, why would you ask me that anyway?"

"No reason. I'll go find that tree Crystal now," said June.

"Have fun," the Boss said. She knows I killed Jill. I can tell by her face. It would be a shame if something happened to her."

"Solet's see the boss said this Crystal gets its power by taking the life out of their special leaves, and if someone steals it, the Crystal kills who ever has the leaves. Geez don't want to touch those leaves." said June.

"Zona,wait up! You're going too fast," said Xavier.

"Oh.Well, stop being so slow then," said Zona.

"Wow,thanks a lot," said Xavier.

The group walked a little bit longer then they got to the flag.

"Here we are, but were is the Crystal at?" said Milze.

"I think we should split up," said Zona.

"Why would you want to do that?" asked Xavier.

"Because we would go over more ground that way,"

"Fine,but are you okay with it, Milze?"

"I'm chill about it,"

"Okay then. We will split up," said Xavier.

"Xavier,you go left; Milze, you go right; and I'll go straight, got it?"said Zona.

"Yeah,but what if we get lost? It's like a jungle in here."

"Use your best survival skills, and if you find the Crystal, just yell loudly. Are we good?"

"Yes,we're good," said Milze.
