The Crystals Emerge

Chapter 18: I Lost

(Warning, this chapter contains gore!)

Zona made it to Milze's house. She quietly went up to the front door and opened it.

"That's odd, why wasn't the door locked?" thought Zona.

She walked into the house. Shattered glass was on the floor with furniture throne around the house. Zona began walking slowly through the house when she heard a faint whisper that said "Get out."

Zona shivered then she started walking down the hall that led to a bedroom. She opened the bedroom door and peeked inside. The room was to dark for Zona to see.

"What are you doing in my house!"

She felt someone grab her shoulders and slam her against the wall.

"Get off of me!" screamed Zona.

"You scum should not enter my house without asking!"

"Zona!"said Milze as she smashed a vase against her mom's head.

Her mom stumbled a couple of feet away.

"Come on," said Milze.

The girls ran to the living room. Milze hid behind the TV stand as Zona hid behind a old large chair. Milze's mom came stumbling into the living room with a sharp broken shard of glass in her hand.

"Oh kids, where are you? You can come out, mommy will not hurt you."

Zona jumped on her back from behind.

"Get off of me!" She flung Zona off of her and threw her into some boxes. After Zona went through the boxes, she hit the wall behind her head first then she became still.

Milze sprung up behind the TV stand and shouted "Zona!"

"There you are," said Milze's mom with a grin.

Milze scrambled to move, but was tripped up by the TV wires. Milze fell forward to the ground. She flipped herself over as her mom pounced on her.

"It's time to be punished!"

"Mom,please stop!" screeched Milze.

The phone started to ring. Milze pushed her mom off of her. She started to run towards the phone, but her mom grabbed her by her ankle and made her fall. When she was falling she smashed into a table that had pencils, pens, and scissors. Everything on the table fell to the ground as Milze did too. Milze's mom jump on top of her. As they were fighting on the ground the answering machine started. "Hey honey, I just wanted you to know that I have to do a double shift at work today, so I won't be able to come home anytime soon, but there is some leftovers in the refrigerator when you get hungry later. Okay,love you, see you when I can,"

"Wait,if that is my mother on the phone, then that must mean you're not my mother and that you're a Cloning Crystal!"

"I've been watching your family's every movement. I know how you talk, how you live, how you eat, pretty much everything, but now you will die!"screeched the Crystal.

The Crystal was about to stab Milze with the piece of glass when Milze grabbed one of the pairs of scissors and stabbed the Crystal's chest with them.

The Crystal dropped the sharp piece of glass and said "How could you do this to your own mother?"

"You were never my mother," said Milze.

The Cloning Crystal went back to it's original form and fell on Milze's chest. She grabbed the Crystal and put it in her shirt pocket.
