The Crystals Emerge

Chapter 9: House

Xavier was in a field. It was night time, and no one else was there. Xavier was looking around."What am I doing here?" Xavier looked up. In the sky he saw Ellen coming down with two swords. She was menacingly laughing and said, "Sorry Xavier, but it's better this way." Ellen stabbed Xavier through his chest. Blood spurted from him. Ellen giggled uncontrollably. "Goodbye, Xavier." Darkness encased his vision.Xavier woke up and jumped out of bed. He was breathing heavily. "It was just a dream."~ ~ ~It was Halloween night. Haze, Zona, Milze, Jaden, and Jaden's friend Ethan went to Haze's house. Ethan had red and blue hair his eyes were brown and his skin color was white.Xavier was dressed up as a character from "Why Not and Milze did the same. Jaden and Ethan went as robots. Haze went as a videogame character. He wore a skeleton's suit. Zona went as a lady singer.
"Guys, are we ready to go out?" whooped Haze. The group was jumping up and down in excitement and was cheering let's go. They went trick-or-treating; the group was out for a couple hours.Joshua came out of his Crystal. "What is it?" asked Xavier."There is a Crystal in that house right over there." Joshua pointed to a frightening house."Okay, give me a minute," said Xavier. "Hey guys, we should just go home."All of them looked at Xavier. "Maybe before we go home, we should go to that creepy house," said Jaden.

"I don't think that's such a great idea," spoke Xavier."Come on, it'll be fun," said Jaden. "Everyone, raise your hand if you want to go in the house." Everyone raised their hand except Xavier."Sorry Xavier, but you were out voted."Xavier grabbed Haze's caller and walked a little bit away. "Haze, there's a Crystal in that house. Did you bring your weapon?" asked Xavier.

"No, I didn't. Zona and Milze didn't either."

"Well, I did bring mine, so if we need help, I have it."

"Fine," said Haze. The group went over to the frightening house and knocked on the door. When they knocked on the door the door creaked open,All of them went into the house. "I think we should split up," said Jaden.

"Why would we do that?" asked Xavier.

"Why not?" said Jaden.

Xavier was about to say something when Zona cut him off. "That sounds great!" She whispered to Xavier, "Just let it go."
All six of them went their separate ways. The Crystal was on the top floor of the house. The Crystal looked at all of the people in his house. "Well, well, well, it looks like that I have more people to play with," he chuckled.Jaden went into a room and closed the door. He felt something dripping on him. He looked up: it was a huge raccoon. Jaden's eyes got big and his mouth was open in shock he didn't have time to react. The raccoon grabbed him and ate him whole.The Crystal giggled. "All of your fears will get the best of you."Zona walked through a hallway and found Milze. "Do you wanna get out of here?" said Milze."Sure,"The floor cracked and buckled as opening up and ate Milze alive.Zona Stood with her mouth in shock. She found the courage to move. She ran as fast as she could. She stopped running. There was a giant clown in front of her. She was in complete shock. The clown pulled out a bowling pin and hit her in the head with it.Haze was walking into a room. Snakes fell on the ground and strangle him. Haze could not break free.Ethan was looking around. Ethan went into a room the door slammed shut water started to come out of cracks in the walls The water started to get high."Oh no," said Ethan. "Someone help me!" That was the only thing he could say before the water got too high. Ethan was drowned in water.Xavier was walking. "Maybe the Crystal is on the top floor."Xavier was walking up the creaky stairs there were weird pictures on the walls pictures were of dead bodies. Xavier was starting to get freaked out. Xavier finally got to the top of the stairs and opened the door "Well, well, well, you are the Xavier everyone has been talking about," said the Crystal. The Crystal had a pumpkin head and wore a black robe. "Now it's your turn to die." A swarm of stink bugs surrounded Xavier."No, please stop!" said Xavier."Why would I? I just killed all of your friends, so now you're next.""Wait, you killed all of my friends?""Yes, indeed,""You killed all of my friends." Xavier grabbed his bat and ran over to the Crystal. He bashed the pumpkin head in with the bat."You can't do that!" The Crystal's head was squashed. The Crystal went back to a Crystal form. The Crystal looked like a jack-o-lantern. Xavier grabbed the Crystal.All of Xavier's friends came back in poofs of air. Xavier ran over to them. "Are you guys okay?""Yeah, what happened?" said Jaden.They don't remember anything, Xavier thought to himself. "Nothing happened," said Xavier Xavier thought to himself what would happen if they actually did die I don't know what I would do .All of them went home and ate their candy.
