When I changed into a night gown and laid my head on the pillow, I immediately fell asleep.

(Y/n) point of view
As I slowly drifted into consciousness, I had only one thought on my mind:
That was a weird ass dream.
I swung my feet over the bed and, still half asleep, managed to find the door. I walked in the direction of the bathroom, but I ended up running into a wall.
"God dammit!"
I reached up. My face wasn't bleeding so that's good, but it felt like it.
With blurry vision, I managed to make it to what I assumed was the living room. I jumped out of my skin when I heard voices.
"Are you alright, mon ami? We heard a noise."
Fuck. So it wasn't a dream then.
I rubbed my eyes and tried to look around.
"Damn, you look like a mess."
I flipped off whoever said that and earned a few chuckles. I think it was Mulligan. That must mean everyone is here.
"I ran into the wall. If you laugh again I'll break your noses."
I heard a few muffled laughs but ignored them as I shuffled my feet into what I think was the kitchen.
I started rummaging through the cabinets.
"I don't mean to be that person who goes through your stuff, but do you have any coffee or anything?"
As my vision started to clear up, I saw Laf shake his head.
"Great. I'll get dressed then or whatever."
I went back to my room and picked out a pink dress with a simple trim. I only brushed my hair because screw that. I don't really know how anyway.
When I got back I greeted everyone before looking around. Laf's house was big and really pretty.
"So, what are we up to? We gonna hit the town? Mingle? Explore something else?"
They looked confused.
"How do you hit a town? It's very rude to strike someone."
I burst out laughing.
"Oh Freckles, your gunna have to get used to my 1. slang terms and 2. ALOT of sarcasm."
Alex looked at me curiously.
"You are a very strange woman, (y/n)."
"I could say the same thing about all of you. I suppose, to rephrase my previous question, what are the plans and activities planned for today?"
That they all seemed to understand.
"Well, mon ami, there appears to be a, how you say, orage?"
I think Alex knew French because he corrected Laf.
"Storm. If we want to avoid the downpour, we should leave now."
I started walking to the door.
"What? No! It'll be boring without everyone all together. What's a little water anyway?"
When I opened the door, the sky was grey. Despite all the windows, I hadn't noticed it til now.
I felt someone grab my arm and pull me inside. It was Mulligan.
"They're right. We really should get going soon."
Alex, being the smarty pants he is, started naming the way one can die in a storm.
"You could get lost from not being able to see, the water could sweep you away, especially with you being a woman and generally of lighter weight, you could..."
I tuned him out. It was getting a little bit depressing.
"Well, what if we had a sleepover?"
"What's a sleepover?"
"What does it sound like, Freckles? You sleep over."
He shifted, his face a little embarrassed.
"Why do you call me Freckles?"
I sat down next to him.
"Well, you have a lot of freckles and where I'm from nicknames are very common. Besides, freckles are cute."
I booped him on the nose and giggled. He looked at me like I had slapped him.
"Your weird. I like you! I like all of you."
I saw a blush creep on to all of their faces. It was adorable.
I got up, my dress swinging with me as a walked around.
"So. What do we have to do around here?"

Laughter filled the room. I sat on the couch playing with Laf's hair as he sat on the ground in front of me and John stood behind me, doing mine.
Mulligan would tease us by pretending to a hair stylist- no. A hair professional and judging the way we did things. Alex was laughing at all of us from a nearby chair.
"Damn, I wish we could do this everyday. We should! Let's hang out everyday."
I saw the others tense up a little. Mulligan was the first to break the lingering silence.
"Well, that's going to be a little hard because... well-"
"Well...?"
"We signed up to join the revolution. We leave in 2 days."
I slumped back and sighed.
"I should've been prepared for this."
"Your not upset, mon ami?"
I smiled, even if it was a little forced.
"Of course not! You guys need to do this. Trust me."
The others seemed to relax a bit as I clapped my hands together.
"Now then! Let's make every second count."
