I laugh at my inner voice and after double checking that everyone was alright, I finally went to sleep myself.
Tomorrows going to be a long day.

(Y/n) point of viewI was the first one awake. Not a surprise since I drank the least.
I was lucky I still remembered last night. It was quite the wild ride.
I went to check on everyone and make sure they were still in one piece. Mulligan has somehow made it to the closet. The "normal one" was Lafayette. He was sleeping soundly under the covers.
When I went to the living room, I saw that Laurens was awake, but wasn't moving. It was an adorable sight actually. Alexander had fallen asleep on top of him and John didn't want to move to wake him up.
"Awww. How adorable."
John snapped his head towards me, startled. He would've jumped if he hadn't been trying so hard to stay still.
"What happened last night?"
I winked at him.
"Guess you'll have to wait and see, Freckles. I going to tell everyone when they're awake."
"Okay. Could you help me?"
I sat down cross legged on the floor in front of him.
"I could, but do I want to? I mean this is adorable."
He glared at me, but nothing could hide the pink that crept onto his cheeks.
Before he could say anything else, we heard someone nearly trip into the room. It was Herc.
"Damn! That was a crazy night!"
I angrily shushed him as Alex stirred, but quickly fell back asleep.
"Oops. Sorry."
Laurens groaned softly.
"I want to get up."
I ruffled his hair as I walked by.
"Sorry buddy. Your stuck like that till Alex wakes up."
"Says who?"
"Me. Don't disturb your boyfriend. I'm going to go try and wake up Laf."
I didn't wait to see John's reaction, but I heard him stuttering and I walked away. It made me laugh.
He never denied it ;)
When I entered Laf's room, he was sitting up in bed.
"Mon dieu, que s'est-il passé hier soir?"
"Sorry, man. I don't know what your saying."
He smiled when he saw who I was.
"Oh, (y/n). I hope we were not to, how you say, troublesome?"
I shook my head.
"Not at all. I was about to tell the story if you get up. You coming anytime soon?"
"Oui. Give me a few minutes."
I nodded and went back to the living room. I got there just in time to see Alex waking up.
He slowly opened then rubbed his eyes. He immediately got up when he saw where he was laying.
"Laurens! Oh, I'm sorry for... you know."
John sat up and stretched.
"It's okay. Really."
I clapped my hands together when Lafayette entered a second later.
"Now! To summarize last night, I nearly choked so I didn't drink as much, you all flirted with me at some point, Laurens passed out and I learned none of you can hold your alcohol."
Herc shot his hand up.
"Except me!"
I rolled my eyes playfully.
"For the most part."
Alex rubbed his eyes and yawned.
"So, how did we get home?"
"You all followed me while I carried Freckles."
Laf looked surprised. They all did, really.
"You carried him? How?"
I didn't understand how it's such a surprise I'm strong.
"Just like this."
I walked over to John and picked him up easily. The others looked amazed while John looked scared that I was going to drop him or use him as a catapult or something.
"How strong are you?"
I walked over to Herc, who was standing. I ducked under his legs and lifted him up on my shoulders. I was nearly dying, but I wasn't going to let them know that. Luckily my dress hid my legs, which were shaking.
They stared wide eyed while Herc looked like a kid at Christmas.
Before setting him down, I smirked and gave everyone a wink. It was fun to show off.
The rest of the morning was rather fun. Laf made us all breakfast and tea to help with the hangovers. We talked about so many things, and all was well until the nagging thing in the back of all our minds became clear.
They have to leave to go fight soon.
We only had one day left, and time was running out.
Or do we?
"Take me with you."
The four men stopped mid-sentence and stared at me.
"What?"
"Take me with you to join the revolution. I have firearms experience. I'm strong. I can take it!"
Alex frowned at me.
"It's harder than you think."
"How would you know? I could be a soldier if I wanted to!"
"It'll be dangerous!"
"Well, ya I know, but-"
"But nothing! The battlefield is no place for a woman."
Those words echoed in my head.
The battlefield is no place for a woman.
....A woman
We'll just see about that.
