Hello world!! I'm back at it again with another chapter. I'm pretty slow with my updates and stuff so I technically owe everyone an apology.
Enjoy!

I put on my outfit for the day. A teal coloured top with black jeans and boots. I skipped down the staircase and found Casey waiting for me. "Happy Birthday!" She squealed as she pulled me in for a tight, bone-crushing hug. As she pulled away, I saw my two cousin brothers coming my way. "Happy Birthday little sis!" They screamed as they ,yet again, tried to break my skeletal structure by hugging me.

We soon got to the cars and I chose to ride with my cousins in their black SUV. My aunt went ahead and joined my mom in our car.

The rest of the ride was filled with my brothers debating between different perfume scents. So much for a normal family.

We quickly got to a café to grab some drinks and cookies. My three wonderful cousins literally jumped out of the window and snatched every single pack of cookies there was in sight. The waitress was glaring daggers at them.

After we got some coffee and treats, we went back to grumbling about how pineapples couldn't actually be considered to be a pizza topping.

"Here we are!" Aunt Courtney screeched as she opened our door making Alex tumble out onto the asphalt.

Aunt Courtney was short and petite. She had crazy long and thick black hair with clear blue eyes. She has the most perfect porcelain skin. Her husband, my uncle and dad's brother, Mark, had dark brown short hair with chocolate eyes. He and my dad looked almost identical. Uncle Mark was older to him by two years. Casey had her mom's hair and her dad's eyes while the boys had their fathers traits. My mom, Sophie, had light brown hair which she always wore in a short bob. She had mesmerising grey eyes. I got my hair color from her and eyes from dad. Me and mom practically looked the same.

We made our way into the boho-style restaurant which was located in the middle of nowhere, or more avidly, the middle of a highway. I really loved this restaurant. I remember coming here when I was a kid with my parents. During the holidays, Casey, Jamie and Alex would also join us.

"Hello! How many people?" A young waitress with a warm smile asked us as we entered. I returned her smile and replied since I was the only person who heard her tiny voice. "We actually have a reservation in the name of Sophie Hills." "Right this way please!" She announced as she led the way. Jamie was basically ogling at the desserts and I had to help Alex drag him away from there.

"I really need to pee right now! All that coffee needs to exit my urinary bladder." Casey whispered to me as she pulled me away and headed towards the washroom. I laughed "Oh my god! Okay. Hold it in there. We don't need a scene here." She hit my arm playfully.

After Casey finished her business and took about a million selfies with the help of the big mirror, we finally made our way out. "Thank god you guys are out. We were about to send a search party in there." Alex giggled as I hit him.

"What would you like to eat girls?" My mom asked as we settled. "Umm one brain with a hint of capillaries please." I whispered to Casey which made her burst out laughing. "Perhaps something less cannibalistic then." I quickly ordered my usual for me and Casey.
