I woke up the next morning when the clock struck six. I was not an early morning person, but for some odd and rare reason, I felt completely refreshed and ready to start the day. I went downstairs to check on Casey after I had brushed and showered. She was obviously still asleep and I didn't plan on waking her up for another hour. Things were just more calm and quiet without someone screaming on top of their lungs. I love her. But I love my peace too. The restaurant was a 24/7 one. So I had no problem ordering a cup of green tea early. I don't really drink anything except water, but that day was an exception.

My drink arrived within ten minutes. I sipped I'm slowly as I drew up the blinds of my verandah door and stepped outside. I was enthusiastically greeted by a gush of relatively warm wind and the chirping of birds. The sun had begun to rise and the scene was utterly gorgeous. I stepped back inside, brought my phone and took a picture. I made extra sure to get the right angle and frame. I prefer to have my pictures perfected. I sent one to my dad.

Good morning from Marrakech!
-Rayne

Hey! Up so early? Never thought you were an early bird.
-Dad

Yeah. Didn't want to sleep in. Casey is still dead asleep though.
-Rayne

Great. What're you guys doing today?
-Dad

The first few things on Uncle Mark's itinerary.
-Rayne

That's good! Take one of the hotel cars and call once you reach back safely, okay?
-Dad

Sure dad. Bye!
-Rayne

With that, I kept away my phone and headed downstairs. Casey was still asleep. I drew up all the blinds and switched on necessary lights. I decided that we should start our trip early and so, I woke Casey up.

"Case! Wake up! Now!" I yelled in her ear. "I don't want to. This bed is so good." She grumbled back. "It's eleven already! We're super late!" I yelled back, trying to sound distressed. "Really? Really?" She jumped up. "You're such a liar!" She mumbled as she went to the bathroom. I went upstairs to pick out what I would wear for the day.

After five minutes of staring at every potential outfit I could wear for the day, I finally picked one. A baby blue coloured ripped jean with an olive top. "You know, I highly approve of your style sense. So would you mind gracing my look with your magic touch?" Casey said as she walked in. "Sure. Fairy godmother at your service!" Casey and I giggled as we headed down towards her room.

I picked out a red coloured boho-top and black jeans for her. She could totally pull it off. I however, liked to stay in my limits with my denims and all things decent. I left her to dress and headed on up to get ready. I combed my short hair and put the disoriented strands in order and put on my clothes. I finished off my look with a rose-gold watch. I glanced at my ring. It looked as good as ever. While heading out the door, I put on my black leather backpack.

"All set?" Casey asked. She was dressed too and wore a brown sling bag with tassels. "Let's go!" We headed out and found a few people already seated in the huge restaurant for breakfast. I fished out our complimentary breakfast tickets from my backpack and handed them to Casey. "Could we actually have a seat outside?" I asked the host. The tables near the fountain looked great. "Right this way please, Ms Hills." One of the many hosts escorted us towards a table for two near the fountain.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and absolutely scrumptious! After forty five minutes, me and Casey were done and ready to move out. "Would you be interested in taking one of our cars?" The lady at the reception asked as I handed her the keys for house cleaning. "Sure." I replied. "Would you like to self-drive or opt for a driver?" She further questioned as she put the key in a drawer. "We'll go with a driver." Casey intervened. "Have a seat please. Your appointed driver will be here in a minute." She said as she called someone. "Thank god they have drivers! The last thing I want is to rot in jail in a foreign country and eat prison food. That stuff is nasty, I've heard." I said as Casey laughed.

Within a few minutes, our driver for the day arrived in a suit and we went out. We would be going around town in a silver Mercedes hatchback for the day. "So where to?" Our jolly old driver asked us. "Town centre please!" I instructed him as I went through the list of potential places.

And with that, we were off to an adventure.
