We reached our hotel in half an hour. It was a very fancy looking hotel with individual villa-type houses. My dad would've highly approved of the architecture. It was brightly lit with yellow lights and the smell of incense sticks was inevitable. There were little pools with gold fishes in front of all the rooms. I really liked goldfishes. I always had at least one at home ever since I was six. We got a private villa to ourselves.

"Ah! I'm going to take a nap. Call me for dinner." Casey said as she dragged her bag along with herself into the very first room she saw. That girl literally had no power. I decided to go explore the villa and then pick a room. The villa was the size of a decent house. It had a verandah outside with a pool and garden. The big windows looked almost bullet proof. The doors were mahogany and the walls were white but looked creamy under the yellow lights. There was a gigantic television in the living room with a white leather sofa. The staircase spiralled up to reveal another set of sofas, television and two huge bedrooms. I opened the door to the first room and found it to be similar to Casey's one. The second room was bigger and had a divine shower. I debated whether I should take this room, away from Casey, or the one downstairs. I went with the one since it wouldn't be much of a problem and we were just a floor away.

I went back down and grabbed my luggage, making sure that I double locked the front door. I changed into my pyjamas and slept for what seemed like forever. I finally got up and the clock read nine. I went downstairs and found Casey still asleep in the same clothes. I opted for room service and ordered me and Casey chicken sandwiches and a soft drink. Our order arrived within ten minutes. "Ooh! Dinner!" Casey squealed as she thumped onto the couch. She had wolf-like senses. So did I when it came to food.

We talked for a while and finished our movie. "I'm going to go back to bed now." Casey yawned. "Okay. Call your mom and dad before you sleep." I yelled from behind. "Yeah. Goodnight." I decided to stay up for a while and complete writing an essay for school. Nothing like homework on vacation. Note the sarcasm. It took me a whole hour to complete the essay research and another one to write it all down.

I went to the fridge to grab a bottle of water when I heard something rustle outside. I jumped at the sound and went towards one of the huge windows which was outsourcing the noise. I was not crazy enough to open it and look outside like in the horror movies so I just drew up the blinds when I saw nothing there. I went to check on Casey and found her sleeping among six pillows and two duvets.

After locking all doors and windows and patrolling the house for what seemed like an eternity, I switched off all the lights in the villa and headed upstairs. I got into bed and switched on the television. I never really liked watching the tv. So I decided to text Aunt Courtney.

Hey Aunt C! Forgetting your one and only niece already?
-Rayne

The reply almost came instantly.

How could I possibly? How are you? How's everything there?
-Aunt C

We're great. Morocco is soooo pretty! We're finally going to put Uncle Mark's itinerary to use!
-Rayne

That's good! I'll tell him that one of the junk pieces he threw into Case's bag is actually being used!
-Aunt C

Lol. So, how's everything there?
-Rayne

All is good. Your mom and dad are working long hours. Getting work done so that they'll be here when you come back. And Alex is about to submit his English essay. Pray for him.
-Aunt C

Haha! My life-saving blessings always lie with those in need. Plus, I have already graced his essay by going through it a couple of times. It's really good. If his teacher doesn't give him good grades, she's blind.
-Rayne

Let's hope! I've got to go now. Mark is busy planting new seeds. I have to make sure that he doesn't plant two different species of plants in the same pot! Take care Ray!
-Aunt C

Bye! Text later!
-Rayne

With that, I put my phone on charge. Tammy hadn't texted me the entire time. Which was obviously new. How could my obnoxious friend not miss her one and only soul sister? Maybe she found another one? Her loss. I got up and opened the big glass door attached to my room which led to a beautiful verandah overlooking the picturesque kingdom. It was absolutely stunning. Yellow lights shone from everywhere and the view was breathtaking. The night air was relatively cool. I couldn't wait to go out the next day and explore the city.

I went back to bed. Hoping that the next day would be as great as I had imagined.
