Hey peeps! Just wanted to tell you all that in my books, people control their wolves. That is, the wolf doesn't have a voice of its own as shown in other typical werewolf books. The wolf is merely the same person in a different form. The mate bond isn't as drastic as it is shown in other books. People meet their soulmate's under normal circumstances instead of just having an unnatural pull towards them. Also, instead of just the Alpha or the Beta having the prime position all the time, their entire family and all children can take over their duties temporarily.
Love,

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"Ugh! Why do we have to wait so long!?" Casey shouted from the bed. "They'll be here anytime." I mumbled back, still looking at my phone. Tammy hadn't texted or called me for two days. And that is equivalent to two months in the BFF time zone! I was still obsessing over the fact when someone knocked on the door. "Come in!" "They're here! Follow me." Camerine said. I noticed that she had changed from her grey housekeepers dress to a black one which was identical.
I ushered Casey to go forward. "Why do I always need to go first?" She said out loud. Sasha and Jake were waiting for us. "You girls look lovely." Jake said as she offered a hand to Casey. She blushed and accepted. Sasha whipped me to her side. "So, Josh Lorne is the Alpha of the Warriors pack. His wife, Anahita, is the Luna. The boy is their son, Rome."
Before I knew it, I was in the hall and in front of very poshly dressed people. "Hello, your highness. It's a pleasure to finally meet you." The tall man put his hand out. He had a few grey hairs and was dressed in a black tuxedo. He had a very reassuring vibe around him and a 100-watt smile. I shook his hand. "This is my wife, Anahita." He introduced his wife. She had a short pixie cut and her hair was jet black. She smiled, revealing her perfect white teeth. She had a tall towering frame. She was almost as tall as her husband and had a warrior build. She was somebody I could potentially look up to. She shook my hand. "And this is our son, Rome." She gestured to a boy who looked like he had come out of a magazine. It hit me that Jake looked like that too. He had jet black hair and was as tall as his parents. "Hi." He shook my hand. He looked nervous. I don't know why he was nervous. I mean, I was practically standing in front of wolves. I wasn't scared.
"Dinner." Camerine announced as she headed in with a herd of waiters and placed covered food on the table. Most of the waiters went back except three. I looked back at Josh. "After you." He nudged me. I took a seat on the very first chair I put my eyes on. The rest followed me. The waiters came up and uncovered delicious looking food and started serving while a waitress came out with water.
"So, how was life before you found out?" Anahita started a conversation with me. I chuckled. "Everything was great. Just great. Mom and dad used to go to work at eight, after dropping me to school. I would come back at four, same time as mom. We'd have dinner together. That was our daily routine and I loved it. I did always feel like my life lacked a little action. Got plenty of it." I laughed and the others joined me. "You had no idea who your parents truly were?" Josh asked me, clearly fascinated. I nodded "Not even for a second." "Have you shifted yet?" Josh questioned. "No" I shook my head. "That makes sense. You just turned sixteen. You'll shift soon." He reassured me.
After dinner was over, Alpha Josh and Anahita wanted to talk to me privately. "I know this is a very big surprise. Not knowing you're a werewolf? I can't even imagine what it must be like for you. We just wanted you to know that we will dedicate all our resources and cavalry to you whenever you want. You just have to ask for it." He offered. "Thank you. But I really don't need much right now. Perhaps you could help me with training once I shift?" I asked. I almost didn't realise how authoritative and confident I sounded throughout dinner. Maybe I was a Royal after all. He laughed, "Ofcourse! I'll personally train you." I smiled back at him. "You must be getting cold. We should be heading in." Anahita said as she wrapped her arms around me. The heat from her body increased as she tucked me under her.
"Your eastern territory is under attack?" Sasha asked Josh just as he stepped into the house. "Yes it is." He confessed. "You should have told me. We're going there tomorrow and throwing them out of this continent." Sasha said as she got back to typing her fingers off. "I'll come with you, dad." Rome interrupted. "Are you sure you're ready son? You're only seventeen. I'll take your brother along." "No dad. I'll come with you..." They trailed off as they moved out towards their car.
"You have two sons?" I asked Anahita who was still by my side. She nodded, "Rome is my younger son. My eldest son, future Alpha, Ethan, is currently in London with your grandmother for business." I had an instant pull towards him. "What's he like?" I asked her. "Who?" She asked, as she was previously distracted by her phone ringing. "Ethan." I felt chills go down my spine as his name rolled off my tongue. "Oh! He'll seem like a dull person if you don't know him well enough. If he's comfortable with you, he's just a bubble of happiness and goofiness." She laughed. "He's twenty two. And he's not a playboy. I was so thankful for that. You know, with most boys nowadays." I was about to agree with her but she continued. "He's never ever been comfortable with any girl or woman. Me and your grandmother are exceptions since we practically raised him." "He sounds great."
As if on cue, Anahita's phone rang. "Oh! Talk about the devil and he appears." She walked off to talk to her son. "I'm going tomorrow morning. Josh, Anahita, Rome and Jake will also be coming with me. Would you mind if Casey came along? She hasn't been trained yet and Josh would like to show her the training grounds." Sasha asked as she approached me. "No problem. Who'll stay here then?" "Ethan will be coming early in the morning. You'll have guards too." She said. My breath hitched in my throat. "When will you guys be back?" "Five or six days." "Okay." I replied. "You'll be fine. Plus, Ethan's a really nice guy. I'm sure he'll take good care of you." She smiled at me. I managed a weak smile. Anahita strolled back to me. "Weird guy. He felt like somebody was remembering him." "So, Anahita. What's it like, being a Luna?" I asked her. She smiled "It's amazing. Luna's have a special bond and connection they share with the entire pack. Whenever any pack member is in trouble, I can feel it. Being able to lead these good and loyal wolves is just a dream." "Rayne! We should go to sleep now. At least I should. I have an early flight to catch." Casey yawned as she stood by me. I laughed. "I'll see you soon?" Anahita asked me. "You will."
Me and Casey headed back to our room as she ranted about how cute and sweet Jake was.
Why couldn't she have a pause button!?
