Hey peeps! It's been like six days or something since I published. I've been getting lazy. Lol.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI looked out of the window and Aberdeen certainly looked gorgeous. I was glad that I had packed a brown leather jacket with me since the jet windows were almost completely frosted and foggy. "Welcome to Aberdeen!" Our pilot finally announced as we landed.
"Come on!" Jake yelled as he grabbed my arm and literally dragged me outside. I never liked to walk after just landing. People had jet-lag. I had walk-lag. What can you say? I am proud to be abnormal.
We were warmly greeted by a man in a sharp suit who further led us to a Cadillac SUV. As soon as we hit the road, the gentle noise of the AC and Jake and Casey's chat was slowly lulling me to sleep. Sasha noticed that and informed me, "We'll soon arrive at our destination." "Okay. Good." I replied as I yawned. "The house you'll be staying at is actually your grandmother's. She bought it a while ago. A few pack members from the warriors may be appointed to you. So they'll basically live with you. You don't have to worry though. It's just temporary." "What about my parents?" I asked her. Would living here mean that I don't see them? "Your parents stayed in America for you. After you move here, your dad will probably take back his beta position." She said. "And my mom?" "Your mom will either join your dad or help your grandmother with politics and stuff. They can totally manage living anywhere. I mean, this is Sophie Smaragd and Theo Hills we're talking about." She chuckled.
"So, what were my parents like when they were younger?" I asked her. I didn't know much about what their personality was like. Sasha's eyes gleamed bright as she rewind to the good old days. "Your mom was just great. Always smart and adamant. Just like she is now. Not much to say about her. Your dad, however, has drastically changed since you were born. He was such a playboy when he was younger! When I first met him after you were born, it was like meeting a saint. Literally." I laughed. He had indeed reformed.
We soon reached our destination. When Sasha had said "house", I expected it to be a normal cozy house. But we pulled up to a mansion! The mansion was fully white on the outside. The asphalt was wet due to the fog and constant drizzle. The temperature was absolutely freezing and different from Morocco or Atlanta. A lady wearing a black house apron uniform greeted us at the door. "Welcome! I'm Camerine and I'll be your host for today. The Lorne's will be here in an hour." "Thank you Camerine." Sasha acknowledged. We stepped into the mansion and it was stunning from the inside as well.
The walls were painted a plain white. The furniture and decorations were very simplistic and elegant. A huge chandelier hung from the ceiling and led to the staircase which was made of glass. I wasn't really fond of heights so that would be a major problem for me. "Feel free to explore. Pick any room you want" Jake said as he followed Sasha out of the house. "Where are they going?" I asked Casey. "Probably to the guard wolves. A royal can't ever have too much security." She chuckled. "Yeah. Right." I rolled my eyes. "Hey, do you mind bunking with me?" I asked Casey as we walked up the staircase. I was partially scared that I would fall to death. "Okay. Sure." She replied. I headed straight forward to the master bedroom, dragging Casey along with me.
When I opened the door, I was greeted by a foyer, which led to another door. On opening the door, there was a gigantic bed with fluffy pillows and a white door which led to the washroom. It was very grand and light poured in from the huge windows.
I dived straight to the bed, hoping to get a quick nap in. But I was interrupted by Camerine who walked in with five or six dresses. "Ms Hills, pick a dress. You'll be wearing one to dinner tonight." I absolutely dredded dresses. "Can I just wear anything but a dress?" I hopefully asked her. "I'm afraid this is what I've been instructed to do and the dress code is formal." she replied with a hint of sadness. I sulked. "You should have a look at them. You might find one which you like." she proposed as she kept them on my bed and went out. "Oh! I compltetly forgot to ask! Do you need any help with hair or make-up?" she asked as she returned. "Yes please!" Casey squealed before I could even reply. "I'll send the artists upstairs in ten minutes then." She shut the door.
"Ah! So this is what it feels like to be royal!" Casey exclaimed as she landed on the bed with a thump. "Can we please exchange lives? I don't want to be whoever I am right now." I sat down next to her. "Please! That would be wonderful! But at the same time, you'd be out of your mind. She-wolves would kill to even get a glimpse of royal lives!" she said. "I'm not even a proper werewolf yet! What if the wolf genes missed me?" I asked, getting hopeful. Casey laughed. "Your mother has Alpha genes and your dad has Beta genes. I am a million percent sure that the genes didn't miss you."
As I was preparing to sulk forever, there was a soft knock on the door. "Come in!" Casey yelled. Two women who were dressed in coats and black denim walked in. "Good morning, your highness! I am your makeup artist Jennifer and this is your stylist, Megan." The tall blonde said as she pointed to an Asian looking girl. They looked like they had walked right out of a movie. They had excellent facial features and looked stunning. I felt self-conscious in front of them.
"So, have you picked your dresses yet?" Megan asked as she picked a few up and eyed them. "Not yet." I replied. "Try this one." she said as she opened the zipper of a maroon floor-length dress. I obliged and went to the bathroom to entangle myself in a mess. Surprisingly, none of that happened and I came out fine. "You look great! Considering that this is your very first time even putting on a dress." Casey jumped. "Great." I sarcastically said. "This dress looks great on you. I'll do your makeup and hair while Megan gets Miss Casey ready." "Oh, don't bother with the formalities! Call me Rayne and her, Casey." I said. "Sure." they smiled at me.
Within an hour, Jennifer and Megan performed miracles on us and we looked like we were ready to walk the runway. "We look so great!" Casey twirled around in her long blue off shoulder dress. "I agree."
"Well, we are done earlier than expected." They both looked at each other. "Can you two be my permanent stylists?" I asked them. "God! That would be absolutely great! Yes!" They squealed at the same time. I chuckled. "Great. I'll tell Camerine."
After an hour of styling and spraying, we were finally ready. Casey wore a cerulean gown and I wore my maroon one. Her hair was up in a bun while I allowed my short hair strands to remain untouched.
"You look wonderful!" Camerine gushed as she walked in. Even though Camerine wasn't supposed to be harmful, something about her was just, off. "You'll be escorted to dinner in half an hour." She walked away again.
I whined and scrolled through my phone for the hundredth time in the past two hours.
