I'm so going to kill you Elias. That's the only thought, my only thought as I run through the dark, dirty alleys.
I dial him as I duck into another alley - hoping to lose those following me. I'm not afraid of them- they're only human - I am afraid if the weapon they have. The damn thing can easily kill me, no matter where they shot me.
Definition : I am so screwed.
I started whisper-shouting the second he picked up the phone. " what the HELL Elias? You said this was an easy exchange. You didn't tell me that my stepfather's minions would be out here to hunt me."
"I only heard whispers of that little detail. You know how good your stepfather is. And there was no way you would take the job if I told you and you know I couldn't trust anyone else with this." His voice is serious, cold and empty. As always.
Too bad I can't waste my breath by shouting at him. "I'm gonna make you pay for this."
"I'm sure you'll try, Ash. Oh and by the way, try not to get shot. There are only a few humans alive that can cure you if you do so and it'll be exhausting for me to do so."
"Sounds intriguing. I'll see what I can."
Without giving the phone a second glance, I end call and throw the phone away. Each time that I list them, they found me again after a minute. Somehow they are tracking me. Since I didn't find a tracker on me, my best guess is the phone.
I stop and start listening before making my next move. Nothing moves. It's almost too silent. Then again, I'm running a little low on alternatives.
I start running, not daring to glance back. Actually believing for one second that they were tracking me from my phone.
"Take one more step and I'll shoot you." Says a male voice from behind my back. " And I don't see any of your little friends so they won't be able to save you either. Whereas my companions will be here in less than a minute."
I curse myself again for sending Lizzy and Jase to find out more about that Juliet girl we wanted to have in the group.
Not even in the group yet but she has started killing me all the same.
"So he told you to capture me alive? Aww I'm touched." I tell him with an amused tone, looking around to find a way out.
Sadly we are in a FREAKING ALLEY WITH ONE WAY IN AND OUT. either way, he will be shooting me.
"What can I say, he seems to enjoy your disgusting company." He says and makes the mistake of giving me an open.
Out of desperation - or stupidity, I don't know. It's really hard to recognize one from the other at situations like this - and not hearing the screeching sound of tires, I lunge at him, going for the gun.
He shoots me before I even take a step, the pain hits me like a kick in the chest.
I hear a loud crash and I close my eyes.
Sorry Elias. Don't think you'll get to save me this time.

So guys... look who's back!!!! I missed you people so much. I just decided to write not Romeo Diaries in here, writing some of the chapters from Ash's point of view. And the book is 1.35 k now!!!! YOU GUYS ARE FREAKING AMAZING! I don't know when I will start writing book 2 but not to worry, I'll tell you as soon as possible.
