Chapter 9 : Giddy Bitch

Casey watched how all the girls rounded Hunter's table. There's no hiding that they're trying to catch his attention.

But what caught Casey attention the most is the girl who keep giggling when Hunter whispered something on her ear. Hunter even let her burrow his hoodie.

The teacher gave them free time before moving to the next class. They have like 20 minutes left and the teacher don't even care about them talking or laughing here and there.

"Hey, Casey." Nathan greeted while taking a seat beside her. He then flexed his arms behind his head while looking at Casey.

"Why are you not talking to anyone? " Nathan asked.

"I'm just not in the mood." Casey turned to look at Nathan.

"That is really unusual. Popular students always entertain people."

"Maybe it's because Hunter is becoming famous and everyone wanted to know him well." Casey shrugged. Honestly she don't event care about her being forgotten.

"Ohh come on. No one can forget about you, you know." Nathan bumped her shoulder.

"Have Max told you guys why he's absent. Like this is the second day and he didn't even messaged me." Nathan eyes widened before he shook his head.

"He didn't tell me any anything but he did messaged me to take care of you for awhile." Nathan said while staring at her.

"Awww that is sweet but I'm not a kid. Have you told him about that? " Casey said staring back at Nathan who is already laughing.

"I did, but you know him right. He really cares about you." Nathan smiled at that.

"I know. Best friend always care for each other right." Nathan just shook his head while laughing.

"That is where you are wrong, Casey." Nathan said while standing up. Casey can't understand what is was supposed to mean. She watched Nathan who is holding out his hand at her.

"Come on." Casey collected all her book and wore her backpack before taking Nathan's hand and together walked out of the class.

Nathan brought his hand around Casey's neck in a friendly way while greeting his friends that is standing by the lockers.

"Hey, Nate." Nathan let go off Casey before they did the bro handshake.

"Anything new about Max."

"Nah, nothings new. But he did follow all the coach instructions." The other boys come joined them three of them. Casey talked for awhile with the boys which is her friends too.

"Bye guys." Casey said walking away to her lockers.

"Bye Casey." All the boys said together catching everyone's attention. Casey smiled at them before she turned around and walked away but the luck was not on her side when she bumped into someone.

"Look where you're going." A voice that can send shiver all over her body said.

Slowly Casey turned around and looked at him who is already staring at her. But there was something on his face showed like he's not in a good mood.

"I'm sorry, Hunter."

"It's -" He didn't even finish his words when a girl that burrowed his hoodie came, hugging him from behind.

"I've been searching for you. What are you doing here with Casey? " She smiled sweetly at Hunter but when she got the chance to look at Casey, she rolled her eyes.

She was shorter than Hunter and a little bit shorter than Casey which give her the chance to rolled her eyes at her because Hunter can't see where her eyes is looking at.

"Uhmm, we just met like a few minutes just now." Hunter said. He didn't even return her a hug. His eyes, staying on the blonde girl that was staring at the two students in front of her.

"Come on Nana, let go of me. Class start in a few minutes."

"But can you walk me to my class? " She batted her eyelashes at him. Casey snorted while rolling her eyes. The way 'Nana' talking with Hunter makes her want to puke. Giddy.

Not many like Nana's attitude in the school, since she uses a nasty way to get famous.

Nana immediately turned to look at Casey when Nana heard her snorted. Her eyes was glaring at Casey.

"Go away, bitch." She let go off Hunter trying to intimidate Casey who don't even looked that scared at her threats.

"What did you said Nana? " Hunter glared at Nana.

"What, Hunter? " Nana cowered when she heard the anger from Hunter's voice.

"Who do you think you are! You think you can go around this school and called people BITCH WHEN THEY DID NOTHING TO YOU!"

"But, didn't you heard her make that sounds-" Nana said almost crying.

"AND DID YOU SEE ME CARE ABOUT IT?" He talked loudly already catching everyone attention the moment he rise his voice at Nana.

"I'm just-"

"Shut up. Now give me my hoodie! GIDDY BITCH!" Casey eyes widen when Hunter said that. She was completely shocked with what just happened.

Why is he backing me up?

Nana cried out while removing Hunter's hoodie real fast. Her eyes is glaring at Casey. She then throw the hoodie at Hunter before running away.

Everyone laughed loudly at Nana who is still running away which makes the situation worsen.

"I don't think-" Casey started but she didn't even get a chance to finished her words.

"Whatever. Do you think I care." It was not a question. Hunter looked at her one last time before walking away.

This is not Hunter.

The kind Hunter is not the one that just talked to her just now and is walking away glaring at any students that walks at his way.
