If any of you people out there are new artists and are new to drawing and such, do NOT start with roses! I BEG OF YOU THEY ARE DIFFICULT
But, if you can pull it off, they make you very happy :}
It took me about.... Two hours? One and a half? To draw these two, and I'm actually really happy with them :,}
Storytime I started with the pear, and when I was done drawing it, I told the teacher I was done, and she asked me if I wanted "the flower" next. I suspiciously said yes, and she walked into this little dark room. At this point I was thinking, Flower? What, like a daisy or something? Sure, I can do a daisy. Aaaaand then she brought out a rose. When I saw it, I'm pretty sure I had a little kiddy heart attack. Then I was thinking, WHAT IS THISSS??!! GIIIIIRL, WHERES MY DING DANG DAISY???! ...... Okay, that wasn't my exact thought process, but you get the point. I did not think I was going to be able to draw that rose whatsoever. But, I did (after much struggling but that's not the point) :D. I am also going back to this art class the Monday after next (so far away cri cri), so expect something similar to this then :}
