I guess I'm doing a sort of... art series? Is that what it's called? Anyway, whatever it's called, I'm going to be drawing each of my old family pets in pastel, on this black paper. This is a portrait of Chucky, the dog that my family had had before I was born, and who passed away in 2011.
Little boi was difficult to draw, though; he was a toy (referring to his size) poodle, and he had really foofy, curly fur that was difficult to replicate, not to mention I had to go off of a very old, blurry reference picture :0 (May or may not have used up half of a white pastel pencil drawing this)
BUT, even though I'm not a big fan of his chest fur (had a struggle with it), I'm pretty fond of his face :3
