The Words He Stated

Three years ago my doctor told me I was going to go deaf,
That I had approximately six years left with my hearing,
Those were her words,
Her exact words,
But what she was really saying?
You will not hear your first child say their first word,
You will not hear your wife say I do at your wedding,
You will not hear the words I love you said to you,
You will not hear your mom or dads or sisters voice,
Ever again,
What she said is I am sorry to inform you, but if your hearing keeps going how it is you will be deaf by eighteen,
What she meant was I am giving you the news that will turn your life upside down and your way of thinking backward,
Let's fast forward three years,
The doctor said I am never and probably will never go deaf,
His exact words where I don't know why your doctor ever said that there is nothing to point to that conclusion,
What he really said?
You were lied to for the past three years of your life,
You will most likely hear your baby's first words,
You will hear infinite I love you, from true one to that will make your heart shatter when they cease to exist,
You parents voice will ring clear in your ears until the day it is meant to stop,
Whoevers voice that will ring out clear as day on the ever so beautiful day will be heard, it may not last but my god you will hear it,
He meant to say we are sorry to inform you but your life will be turned upside down again and your way of thinking will be turned front way forward,
The word he stated where my battle cry, the words he stated where my lifeline and my mantra and everything in between,
The words he stated saved my life.
