It was routine for Jungkook every day, quite tedious in his point of view. He would wake up every day, get dressed, greet his wife for the morning before going to work after skipping breakfast and going to work. This day wasn't any different. Jungkook sat up for the first time for the day, bedhead and everything, he headed to his dresser and put on his normal white shirt with black pants. He didn't put too much effort into doing his hair because he didn't see the point in being super fancy for his workplace so he just left it and walked out of his room. He walked down the hallway that had photos of him and his wife during all of their years from high school prom, graduation from University, and even their engagement and wedding photos. It wasn't until a year after their marriage they had tension growing due to Jungkook becoming more uncaring about everything in his life except his workplace but the love was still there. He went downstairs which led straight to their living room which meant the kitchen was open to it just to the right. "Good morning, sweetheart." His wife, Jeon Jieun, born Lee Jieun, smiled at him. She was the opposite of Jungkook. She was very vibrant in her personality, sweet and still very much in love with Jungkook. She had porcelain skin, big eyes, and a tiny frame compared to Jungkook. "Do you want breakfast this morning?"

"No thanks. I slept in a bit too much today." Jungkook simply stated as he poured himself a cup of coffee, "Thanks, Jieun. You're too good to me." He actually meant it because he knew that she loved him and he felt bad for not being able to express that same love for her like he did when they were in high school.

The petite female shook her head with a smile, "No, I promised I'd take care of you and love you to the end of my life." She embraced him even though he had a hot cup of coffee in his hands so he put it down and held her. "Maybe when you get back home from work, we can go on a date if you're up to it." She added the last statement because whenever Jungkook went to work and came back he looked emotionally exhausted, understandable when you're working with some of the most mentally unstable patients there.

"We'll see. I'm getting assigned a new patient today and that's always interesting because each patient has their own story and baggage. One of these days, I promise I'll make it up to you." He looked at his wife with a soft and sweet expression. "I have to go, Jieun but I shouldn't be too late if the patient will cooperate." The two kissed each other before Jungkook went to the doorway. He grabbed his lab coat and put it on. Afterward, he put his shoes on and as he was about to walk out the door, Jieun called out to him

"Wait, Jungkook! Don't forget your glasses. Don't want you to suffer a car crash." She smiled as she put them on his face. They gave each other one last hug before Jungkook walked out and got in his car. He sighed as he put his seatbelt on. He was never excited to go to work, in fact, many times before, he almost quit his job because he didn't think the stress of being around lunatics was worth his sanity. He only wanted to pursue psychology in his University years was to further understand why his family and Jieun's families were so dysfunctional. He started his car and drove off to work -- to Arkham Asylum.
