Chapter 9

2 Years Later

Jimin was sitting in his new house that he was able to purchase for Amber and Eunjung. Amber and him were the legal guardians of Eunjung because her parents were both deemed unfit to have custody. The ripe three-year old girl had no idea of what became of her parents considering Amber and Jimin wouldn't tell her anything but because she was so young she didn't mind either but that didn't mean she wasn't curious.

Jimin walks into the living room and sees Eunjung looking through photo albums of her parents' wedding, "Eunnie, what are you doing?" Jimin asked as he walked around their couch and sat down with her. "Are you looking at your mommy and daddy?" Jimin and Amber always made Eunjung know that they were not her parents but they were two people who loved her like parents.

"Jimin, why won't chu tell me about my momma and papa?" She asked as she flipped the page to a picture which was a simple selfie that the two took, she put her hand on her father's face, "I don't remember my papa. I remember momma...but I only see sadness."

Jimin was always amazed by her sharpness and intelligence which she definitely inherited from both of her parents, "That's because your momma was sad because she couldn't see your papa."

"Why though? Why can't I see my papa and momma?" Eunjung asked sadly. Jimin had to think of excuse after excuse to the reason why she couldn't see her parents.

Amber comes in looking at her phone and says, "Turn on the TV, Jimin. There's an urgent report on the TV." The tomboy hadn't changed except for the fact her hair was bleach blonde and looked more tired. Raising Eunjung without Jieun has been tough on Amber but she never once blamed Jungkook on this whole thing because their relationship was not built on trust but on plain naivity.

Jimin had turned the TV on and immediately a news achor spoke, "This just in, there has been yet another mass break out at Arkham Asylum. Just a year ago, our very own Batman had captured the infamous Joker and put him in Arkham Asylum where he belongs. For a year now, the clown was quiet and showed no signs to escape until just now. Along with him are the villains that go by the alias' Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, and many others that have not been released. We do not know the Joker's true intentions on his break out but we can only hold out hope that Batman will be able to capture the monster and put him back in his cage."

"His true intention is finding Jungkook and breaking him out of prison. The very first place Joker will try is to find Yoongi and Dawon or me to figure out anything about Jungkook." Jimin looked at the photo in the memory photobook that Jieun and Jungkook created and there was a photo of him and Jungkook, "Considering I was Jungkook's closest friend."

Yoongi and Dawon had been able to settle down together despite and they were rather serious with each other. Dawon was able to find herself a job in Gotham City rather than go back to her job in Midway. Yoongi was unemployed but he was pursuing a career in music which was something he hadn't pursued since the death of Hoseok, his biggest supporter in his music.

On that day however, Dawon was just in the kitchen cooking on her day off and Yoongi was in his office when they heard the door get kicked open and in came the Joker solo with his gun in hand and went straight to Dawon, "Tell me where he is! I will not hesitate to kill you and your new boy toy."

"Taehyung..." Dawon muttered as she looked at his face which was scarred due to the burns of the explosion him and Harley Quinn were involved in before their imprisonment. "I honestly have no idea where he was taken. If I knew, then you would already have your answer." She looked at the madman and she noticed his eyes were shaking. He was right in front of her face and she smelled his breath, "Are you drunk? Why are you drinking?"
