Chapter 24: Final

-After the battle-

The sun had risen and the battle had ended when a group called the Agency that works under CL showed up to lock Yoongi up where he could no longer hurt people. That was all happening above ground but underground Taehyung was hurt because he was shot in several places but he didn't care because all he wanted to do was go to Jungkook's body. "It's not the end." Taehyung had a piece of paper in his hand and he gave it to Baekhyun who read it. "All I need is the power of healing and necromancy."

"So you need Yixing and Enchantress. With their powers combined they can ressurrect a human being perfectly otherwise it would be impossible." Baekhyun said as he looked at the two.

"You got that from Yoongi, didn't you?" Dawon asked to which Taehyung just nodded not willing to face the sister of his deceased love. "He wanted to ressurrect Hoseok and to this day, I still don't understand why he wanted to resssurrect him when he killed him in the first place."

"It's okay...Hoseok can finally rest now that his killer has been found and caught." Taehyung was caressing Jungkook's colorless face, "When he is ressurrected he will have no recollection of what happened these last 15 years...it'll be like when he and I first met."

Jieun looked at Taehyung, it wasn't Joker that Kookie fell in love with....it was Taehyung himself. "Will you take good care of himself, please? In the year where he was your psychiatrist...he fell in love with you. He gave up his normal life for you. He loves you. He loves your heart." She put a hand on Taehyung's heart and as a friendly gesture he held onto her hand which she felt his hand a lot warmer than it was.

"If it wasn't for him...I wouldn't be free." Taehyung looked down at Jungkook's lifeless face, "I never knew it...but I loved him. I still do and when he is ressurrected...whoever he chooses I won't hold it against him."

"He'll choose you. If you said that his memories will begin where you two met then his heart will be there as well." Jieun looked at Jisoo who walked over to them with Eunjung in her arms. "Is she okay?"

"She's really badly injured...I'll try to mend to her until Yixing is done ressurrecting Jungkook. Are we sure he won't come back as Harley?"

"I'm sure of it...Even if he does...I know how to make 2 personalities come back together." Taehyung was on edge, not knowing if he was ever going to fall back on bad habits but he knew that if he had Jungkook everything would be fine.

~A few days later~

In the hospital, in the same room, was Eunjung and her father. Jieun, Jisoo and Taehyung walk into the room and they see Eunjung out of bed against doctor's orders but she fell asleep at her father's bedside. Jisoo smiled and went to Eunjung to wake her up, "Rise and shine sleeping beauty. You seem to have finally woken up last night and you found your father still sleeping."

"When I woke up, they told me the longer it takes my father to wake up the less likely he will wake up." Eunjung looked at everyone and she realized that Taehyung was right there but she realized something was different, the look in his eyes was softer. "So I see Hoseok finally got you back to who you are. What happened?" Eunjung didn't know at all what happened.

"Well your father sacrificed his life to save me...well actually it wasn't your father but it was Harley." Jieun was still confused as to why he would save her. "Taehyung finally found his inner courage to finally face his fears which was love again. The only thing standing in his way was Yoongi." Jieun was still upset about his betrayal mostly because she graciously welcomed him into the family. "Yoongi is the tightest security prison in the entire world. He'll serve his time there and hopefully he finds regret in what he has done...until it's his turn."

"So he got the death sentence." Eunjung looked at her wrist which had a bracelet that was given to her when she was younger form Jimin and Yoongi. "How is Jimin?"

"He's getting treated and hopefully in a few months time he'll be well enough to live in society again." Jieun said and she looked at Eunjung and Jisoo, "Let's go for a walk." Jieun got her daughter's wheelchair and put her in it. "How long did the doctor's say you'll be able to use your legs again?"

"I actually have to learn how to walk again.." Eunjung was only partially paralyzed but only because of the severe neurological damage she sustained. "But you know, I have Jisoo with me and she'll be able to help me."

Jisoo giggled and kissed her on the cheek, "Always." They walk out except Taehyung who went to Jungkook's bedside.

"Jungkook...I don't know if you can hear me. I just want to thank you for everything. For believing that I could become Kim Taehyung again even from we first met. I'm sorry I didn't have to the strength to love someone again. After Hoseok was taken from me, I thought I couldn't find anyone who loved me like he did and to find someone I love as much as him. Yet, there you were as my psychiatrist...The only one who looked at me differently." Taehyung was trying not to get choked up, "I did so much damage to you and your family. I'm sorry." He held Jungkook's hand and he realized no real warmth had returned to his body. He kissed Jungkook's hand and then went to his lips and kissed him there. When he did, tears finally fell down his face, the pain he held in for 25 years, "I may not be exactly the person you fell in love, I still love you."

He saw Jungkook's hand twitch and his heart monitor pick up a few beats per minute, "Tae...Tae." Jungkook smiled to which Taehyung cried tears of happiness. "Nice speech there."

"Do you...do you remember everything?" Taehyung asked, hoping Jungkook didn't forget all of the memories they had together even if it wasn't them completely.

"Of course I remember." Jungkook tried to sit up but his head hurt, "I feel like my head was ripped in two and one part is empty."

So it really is just Jungkook...Harley died because Jungkook was able to accept Harley as a part of himself. "You'll feel like that for a while until you can adjust living normally again." It's been 25 years for me...and 15 years for you Jungkook since we've been able to live as ourselves. "We can finally live happily together."

"Before we do, Tae...can I see my daughter and ex-wife? I want to let them know that I still love them and I'll be there to support them until the end." Jungkook's eyes had been filled with regret, "It's the least I can do for all of the pain I've caused them."

"Of course...anything for you." Taehyung kissed Jungkook on the forehead, "I'll send them in."

After talking with Jungkook, he asked Eunjung, "Are you really paralyzed? How did that happen?"

"When I was abducted...I couldn't tell if it was Yoongi or the other one, but they shot me in the stomach and it went straight to my spine. I'm not completely paralyzed, I just have to learn how to walk again but I can feel my legs I just can't use them." Eunjung looked at her father and when she looked at him, he saw the 5 year old in his daughter, "Are you okay, papa?"

"I'm fine now that I'm with you two." He embraces both of the women in his life, "Jieun, I want to let you know that I will always love you but I think you know we can't pick up where we left off." His tears fell because he still deeply loved the woman in front of him but he has spent 15 years with Taehyung that he can't imagine his old life with Jieun. "If you ladies need anything though, please know that I will always be happy to help. I love you two so much, please know that."

Eunjung sniffled because she adored her father and she had a chance to be with him and her mother but now she knows too much has happened that it can't happen. "Papa, will you promise that you and Taehyung will visit us?"

"I promise you, baby girl. Anything for you." He smiled as he kissed her on the cheek. "You ladies are my everything...just know that."

Then the door opened and there stood Jisoo, Baekhyun and Taehyung. Jungkook and Taehyung made eye contact and they just smiled sweetly at each other, but they both knew that if they didn't keep their lives on the down low, Taehyung could lose control again but they both knew if Jungkook was there they had nothing to fear.

I have the love of my life and I had the two most important women in my life. Nothing can come in between us.
