Chapter 22

-The Next Day-

Everyone was taking seperate cars to Arkham City: Jisoo, Baekhyun and Joker in one car, Jieun and Harley in the other or rather Jieun and Jungkook. There was a really awkward atmosphere but Jieun was the one to break it. "Jungkook...do you remember..that day?" She asked a bit hesistantly. "I want to tell you the truth about that day. I wasn't feeling well so I tried to call you at work and they told me that you were unavailable so I called Yoongi over. Well, originally he came over to watch me like he promised Dr. Seokjin. Well about 5 minutes before you got home he was just asking how I was feeling and all of the sudden he confessed that after watching me for 3 months he started to fall in love with me. That's when you walked in the house and he heard you but I didn't so he asked me all of the sudden--"

"Why don't you divorce him?" They both said at the same time.

"I did say that I loved him but I was at a loss of words so I said the first thing that came to mind and he was the one who kissed me. I pushed him off of me and I was horrified because I never wanted that to happen." Jieun had tears coming down her face as she looked at her ex-husband who was driving and had a serious look on his face. "I love you, Jungkook. I've only loved you but he manipulated me into saying that I loved him and kissed me. He knew full well that you were there walking in the door."

Both of their cars pulled into the parking lot, and they both saw that the other 3 got out of their car and headed towards Jungkook and Jieun, but no wrods were exchanged with the latter because the other personality of Jungkook took over. "You make a pretty good liar, Lee Jieun." Harley got out of the car and Jieun wiped her tears and sighed as she got out.

Jisoo ran to Jieun to stay by her side considering Jieun was the only one who had no fighting ability but had to come along to find her daughter. All 5 of them had entered Arkham and that's when they noticed someone familiar at the service desk, Jisoo overheard, "I'm sorry sir, but we have no record of Jung Dawon...she's still reported missing."

"Very well then." The male turned around and said, "Well, if it isn't the two most wanted runaways of Arkham Asylum, Joker and Harley Quinn."

"I never wanted to see your face ever again, Yoongi." Harley Quinn told Yoongi who just ignored him and looked at Jieun.

"Why are you with them? Where is Eunjung?" He asked curiously. Little did they all know that Yoongi knew exactly when they would arrive at Arkham Asylum so it wasn't just chance they ran into him.

"That's the thing...we don't know. Jisoo's father Baekhyun was at our door injured and--" That's when she stopped and began on another tangent, "Where did you go anyways? You never told me you were leaving."

"I had things to do and besides I didn't want to disturb you girls in whatever you were talking about. Eunjung isn't my daughter so what happens with her life is between you, Jungkook and Jisoo." Yoongi said.

"Enough of this mindless banter. I'm going to find this bastard who killed my family." Joker barely turned around when he got a text message on his phone:

Congratulations. You found me, now you just have to meet me. Come to the building that used to be your club in Arkham City. You will find me, Eunjung, Dawon, the RIddler and even Poison Ivy.

"I never wanted to go back there..." He gripped his phone so hard that his screen cracked a little. "This bastard really is having me on a wild goose chase. That club was going to be the club I ran with Hoseok a little more than 25 years ago. He's involving the ones I love, first Harley and now Hoseok. I'm going to make this guy suffer more than he made my family suffer."
