Chapter 10

Jimin was on his way to work but today was different, he took Eunjung to work with him. It was dangerous but Amber had a job interview and the two of them couldn't afford to leave Eunjung alone because of her father. Little did she know that she was getting one step closer to meeting her mother but Jimin and Amber were very careful in keeping Jieun a secret from her daughter. "Jimin?" She asked, "Do you know where my momma or papa are? I really want to meet them. It's not that I'm interested in getting to know them..." She said sadly as she looked down, "I just want to know who they are."

Jimin sighed because he wants to give Eunjung that opportunity. He thought, she deserves at least to get to know her mother...her mother won't try to kill her. "Eunnie~ do you want to know a secret that Amber and I have been keeping from you? I see your mother almost everyday. I'm her psychiatrist."

"What's a psy-cho-trist?" Eunjung tried to repeat the same word.

Jimin smiled at her cuteness, "It's something that your father did. He was one of the best psychiatrists to ever live. He almost cured even the most dangerous criminal ever."

"Wow! That sounds amazing! My papa sounds amazing!!" She giggled. The idea of her father being famous made her excited that she forgot that Jimin said he sees her mother everyday.

He's famous alright...but not in the right way. He thought to himself as he pulled into Arkham Asylum. "Alright, Eunnie. I want you to be on your best behavior, okay?"

"You don't have to worry about me!" She smiled. Jimin always loved and hated when she smiled because she had the same smile as her father. "I'll be a good girl."

"Stay with Dr. Seokjin, okay? He'll take care of you. He's a family friend of ours." Jimin was told about the doctor who got transferred to Arkham Asylum because he was pretty good at his job. Plus, he took care of Jieun as well during the time she was cheating on Jungkook. They got out of the car and Jimin took Eunjung's hand as she was excited to join Jimin at his job.

"Patient Interview #50, Birth Name: Lee Jieun, Legal Name: Jeon Jieun." Jimin looked at Jieun who was looking around the empty room as if she was seeing a whole different setting. "Jieun...look at me."

"Do you not see? The sun is shining brighter than ever. At night, the stars...they're so PREETTY." Jieun was laughing as she was talking about it. "They tell me it's beautiful up there. No pain. No fear. No heartbreak."

"Jieun, no one is here but me." Jimin made her look at his finger, then he snapped his fingers and she fell instantly asleep. "Jieun, can you hear me? What do you see?"

"I see...Jungkook playing with Eunnie pushing her on the swings with that dorky smile of his." Jieun all of the sudden had tears pouring out of her eyes while she was in hypnosis, "He disappeared...he left us. How could he? Wait, who is that? The man smiling behind Jungkook."

"He's not a good guy but he's not a threat to your family. He only wants Jungkook and you'll let that happen." Jimin whispered in her ear, "You won't forget what happened to you but you won't let it haunt you. Joker and Harley Quinn, they are no longer Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook." He held Jieun's hand and held it, "You'll come to accept it and return to us, me, Eunjung, and Amber. Jungkook...is nothing but a figment of your past. You'll move forward by filing for divorce and leaving everything behind."

"I-- I can't." Jieun muttered and broke the hypnosis which was almost impossible for even the craziest of patients. Her eyes moved around as if she was looking for Jungkook and Taehyung. Her glance went to the door which was open and there stood the small Eunjung staring.

"Mommy..." She muttered and Jimin looked at her in a panicked manner.

Jieun got up and went towards the child, although Jieun was deemed harmless Jimin couldn't help but be cautious. When she made it to Eunjung, the mentally incapacitated Jieun fell to her knees and hugged her daughter; the very first sign of sanity Jimin had seen in Jieun in 2 years. "Eunnie...thank goodness you're okay. Thank goodness you're healthy."

"M-Mommy..." Eunjung started crying when she heard her mother's voice, it was like she remembered the time she was in her mother's womb.

If only it would be this easy with Jungkook... Jimin sighed with a smile but a sad one as he was watching Eunjung cry. She doesn't even know her father.

Elsewhere

Hanging upside down was Harley looking at the door as it opened but it wasn't Daehyun but it was a woman walking in with a handsome young man. The woman approached the cage without caution, "You're brave, lady." He swung down, laughing as he went to the bars, "Are you the devil?"

"You could say that." She looked at Harley who was looking at her with his eyes wide and his mouth shaped like an 'O'. "Daehyun." She called and he stepped forward and then when he did she grabbed him by the shirt, "What are you doing, hurting my soldiers? You're supposed to be training them not torturing them."

"I don't...torture him. I just--" Daehyun was nervous.

"You just what? Have a death wish? The more physical and mental injuries you inflict on this young man, the bigger the death wish you have. Not only by the Joker but my hands as well." The woman looked at Harley with an intimidating look. "I bet you don't want to be in here the rest of your sorry life, Jeon Jungkook."

"Why are you calling me by my real name? Who are you? It's only fair for me to know your name." Harley smiled at the woman.

"Very well, my name is Lee Chaerin. You can call me CL." She said to Harley. "I know you like nicknames except the nickname Kookie." The nickname made him slam on the bars. "You've become a wild animal in this prison. I'm sure you would love to see your clown. If you do what I say then you'll see him."

"I want to see my Puddin'," Harley pouted. "He means the world to me. What if I refuse?"

"Then you can say goodbye to everyone in your life. Your clown, your ex, your child and your best friend." Going by CL's eyes, she wasn't kidding. "You're a psychiatrist but yet you're the easiest to read. You miss those closest to you, even if it is your ex. You've been alone for 2 years. I'm going to give you a chance to work with someone I know you are close to."

Harley's eyebrow rose as CL handed him a packet of papers. Harley took them and looked through them, two names caught his attention, "Krystal Jung and Kim Seokjin?" Seokjin...that's the doctor that helped Jieun... and Krystal...no...Ivy. It was no secret that Harley was attracted to Poison Ivy and in fact when they were in Arkham Asylum together, they saw each other often. "Yeah, sure lady. I'll join your little army but what do you plan to do with us?"

"That's a secret." She turned around and smiled, "It was nice to meet you, Jeon Jungkook. I hope to see you again."

Somewhere Else

"Mr. J? Are you okay?" Baekhyun asked as they were entering a bar. Ever since Joker broke out of Arkham Asylum to find his Harley but without him it's been hard on Joker.

"Will you quit asking me that? I don't miss Harley as much as you think I do." They moved through all of the drunk young adults and even shoving some of them, "Disgusting. They're wild animals that need to be tamed."

All of the sudden they run into an eccentrically dressed male and for some reason Baekhyun knew exactly this was the man they were looking for. "Are you the one called G-Dragon?" Baekhyun asked the man.

"Yes. I know who you are too." G-Dragon looked Joker up and down and said, "I'd recognize a man with green hair and a guady suit."

"I am not the one who is guady here. I came here for one thing and one thing only. I was told that you know who the ultimate contractor is and who sent 5 people after my family. Who is it?" Joker demanded to know as he reached in his suit pocket for his razor blade and started to fiddle with it.

"Oh there's no need to threaten me. I'll tell you. His name is Jung Daehyun. We can say he was related to Hoseok...we can say extended family. Daehyun's parents loathed Hoseok's family. I only know Daehyun because I met him once as he was killing a person I called a good friend...no a close friend. I have a grudge against Daehyun myself but I don't dare go near him. He's merciless and ruthless. He's worse than you and your little accomplice combined. Here's something juicy, Mr. J. Daehyun is the warden of the prison your Harley Quinn is located." Joker's eyes widened with anger but also fear.

"If he lays one finger on my Harley I'll kill him far worse than any of his victims. He destroyed my life." Joker was beyond anything Baekhyun had seen him, "I will make him pay even if it kills me."
