Chapter 12

Eunjung was running around getting art supplies. Jieun noticed that Eunjung was a bit more alive than normal, "Jieun, I cooked us breakfast." Amber was trying to get Jieun's attention but the latter was lost in her thoughts which always made Amber nervous. She grabbed Jieun gently and turned her around to look at her, "What's on your mind?"

"I'm just worried about Eunnie. I want her to live a normal life but...I fear it may not happen." Jieun's eyes had tears on the corner of her eyes, "Amber, I'm trying my best to stay strong for her but everytime I look at her, she's looking more and more like her father. After what he and his psycho lover did to me, I can't forgive them."

"You may not be able to win your internal and mental battle with yourself if you don't forgive them. I wanted to kill them after what they did to you but I forgave them because I still have you. They didn't tear you away from me by killing you. I'm selfish but...I love you, Jieun." Amber said that for the first time in their relationship and that made Jieun smile.

"I love you too. Thank you. I will work on forgiveness." All of the sudden they heard the doorbell so Amber went to answer it and it was pretty much the entire crew. "Wow, what managerie."

All of the sudden, Eunjung appeared from her room and went to Dawon who picked her up and held her hand. "Hello, baby girl. You've gotten so big."

"Dawon...would you mind telling me about your brother?" The question shocked everybody in the room and it made Dawon start to tear up.

"He was the most loving and the strongest person I ever met probably second to your mother. He would put his own health aside to help anyone he thought would need it. I was able to speak to him one last time before he was killled but it wasn't exactly a happy conversation." She started to recall the last memory she had with her brother.

-Flashback-

"For the last time Dawon. I will not come home where I am not welcome. Besides if I leave Taehyung alone for even a second, he becomes paranoid and anxious. You need to understand that I love this boy with my heart and I want to help him overcome whatever it is that makes him how he is." Hoseok was snapping slightly at his sister but then his voice becomes soft, "He's the love of my life."

"Alright, Hoseok. Just know that I have a really bad feeling about the kid. Look, he may be timid or scared, but that could be an act." Dawon told her brother.

"Even if something does happen to me, nothing will stop me from loving him. Dawon, promise me something. If something does happen to me, watch over him for me. He means the world to me." He told Dawon which made her heart drop.

"Don't talk like that, Hoseok!" But then she took a deep breath and said, "Very well. I promise you."

-Present-

As she finished her story, a thought ran through her head, if I leave Taehyung alone for even a second, he becomes paranoid and anxious. That made Dawon remind her the time Taehyung broke into her house and attacked her wondering where Jungkook went. She noticed he was agitated and he even had drank something to quell his anxiousness. "I just figured something out...the reason why he's looking for Jungkook so desperately is because he's terrified. He really is just a child."

Eunjung looked like she thinking about something to which Jieun noticed, she is so smart...Jungkook, thank you for being so smart and passing that on to our child. "Jimin?" Eunjung looked at Jimin who looked at the young girl and she said, "I overheard you talk to my mother once and you said that you loved my father."

"I loved him since right up to the point where I met Yoongi. Why do you ask, Eunjung? You're a bit too young to try understand love." Jimin said a bit confused. He had been the stand-in father for Eunjung due to her biological father being unavailable to take care of her.
