Chapter 16

-*10 Years Later*-

Ten years have past and Eunjung had turned 15 years old. The older she gets the more spirits that try to communicate with her but she still only speaks to Hoseok who was a great comfort for Eunjung. She hasn't seen her mother in these past ten years and also had to live with a father that had two separate personalities and she never knew which one would be in control. Eunjung was a young girl with big, round eyes and full lips that when she smiled they covered most of the toothy smile she used to have.

What she also used to have was a loving disposition but while training with Katana, Enchantress and CL she's developed a sociopathic personality. The change happened when she entered adolescence but that was also the same time her powers awakened to their full potential. Eunjung had to numb herself from the pain she felt when she was able to hear the screams of the dead and enter the hearts and minds of those around her. But it proved to be a useful power for her because she was able to see the worst memory of her victim and use reverse psychology on them. In a sense, she was more brutal than Harley Quinn because the latter just kills his victims.

Eunjung was using her choice of weapons, she was dual-wielder of daggers and when she was in a tight situation she would switch to her pistols. Everyday she would train by herself and sometimes with Katana. She would use a series of spinning attacks and even brute force on Katana. "You're distracted, Eunjung. Focus."

"She's distracted because I've been standing here." CL's voice sounded out. Even though 10 years passed, CL looked the same if not more beautiful. "A new foe has risen in Gotham. His name is Two-Face."

Eunjung spun her daggers in circles and then threw them at the wall which she knew her father was right there, "You little brat. You almost killed me!"

"Sorry, I can't help but be cautious...besides I know you tried to kill me when I was younger." She went to the direction of the exit of the building and on her way she grabbed her daggers and stopped to say something to Harley, "I know you want to kill me...then that way you can destroy my father's conscious...And just because you share the same body does not mean I will not hurt you." She walks off to the van where they all go out and take care of crimes in Gotham.

-*In the Church*-

The squad had made it to the church where Two-Face was wreaking havoc, keeping people hostage. Eunjung closed her eyes and focused on the feelings around the area, "The feelings...I picked them up from Two-Face and they are those anger and hatred, but also scared and a feeling of regret." Who is Two-Face? Why does he feel so familiar?

"Come out! Come out! Wherever you are!" Harley couldn't keep his mouth shut ready to kill people.

"Shut up, you're so annoying." Eunjung snapped just wishing Harley could at least take Jungkook's cold and calculating demeanor.

"A family quarrel. I haven't seen you in 10 years Eunjung. Well, really we haven't been introduced but I know so much about you. And Harley, you seem just as playful and insane as before. I can't wait to see that smile..." Two-Face had emerged from the shadows and the look on Eunjung and Harley's faces were one of horror. "DISAPPEAR!"

"No...what happened to you?" Eunjung had tears in her eyes for the first in years.

"Eunnie...run away." The other personality of Two-Face spoke.

"No...Jimin. I can't do that..." She proceeded to run to him until she was stopped.

"Eunjung...sweetheart. Let me handle this." Eunjung looked at her father who made Ivy stop his daughter from running to Two-Face, "Childhood friends. Both of us have split personalities."

"So there is the famous psychiatrist who cured some of Gotham's greatest criminals...Jeon Jungkook. I've been looking for you. I can kill you and that brat of yours then that way...I can have complete control over this body." He charged after Jungkook who did a frontflip over Two-Face and in the process wrapped his legs around Two-Face and smashed him on the ground while landing perfectly.

"I didn't know that your other personality was so stupid as to charge me like an ape." All of the sudden, Ivy's vines grabbed and constricted Two-Face. Jungkook held his hand out to Eunjung who grabbed it, "You know what to do...tell us how he became like this."

Eunjung put her hand over his heart and closed her eyes...as she was visualizing, tears ran down her face until the turning point knocked her back due to the force. "He...changed because of us...and because of Joker...he thought the two of us to be dead and he wanted revenge on Joker who shot Jimin on the right side of his face..."

Two-Face all of the sudden whistled and when he did his henchmen came out with familiar faces to Jungkook, "Baekhyun!" Along with Baekhyun was Taeyeon and a younger girl around Eunjung's age was in between them, Jungkook deduced that it was Baekhyun and Taeyeon's daughter. "So you made Joker and I believe that the other young man was the father. You should know Mr. J by now...he would've spared Taeyeon and wouldn't have had me almost kill her."

"I would stop flirting because you're about to die for good, Quinn..." Jungkook looked at Two-Face and the latter said, "You and that psychiatrist."

"Aww, that's cute, hon', but sorry, I plan on living for a long time." The obvious switch between Jungkook and Harley took place and he took his baseball bat and hit Two-Face in the gut just after Ivy released her vines causing the man to fly into the wall. Harley looked at the henchmen and said, "Who wants to play? BATTER'S UP!"

A fight rose out in the church with metal clanking from Eunjung's daggers, cracking of skulls from Harley's baseball bat and even the sound of Ivy giving the victim's poisonous kisses. Katana went to Baekhyun and his family and broke them free. Just as Taeyeon was being broken free, a gunshot was fired from Two-Face headed straight for Baekhyun to which Taeyeon took the bullet causing her instant death. Baekhyun screamed and went to Taeyeon and started crying, "No...wake up...no this can't be happening."

Eunjung looked at them sadly and she was able to see Taeyeon's spirit and she was hugging Baekhyun from behind. She then heard laughter from Two-Face and that's when the police arrived and hand-cuffed him. "Don't worry, Eunnie. Your father is next...be careful because another one your own will betray you..."

After the chaos died down, Baekhyun and his daughter were crying from Taeyeon's death. Eunjung couldn't imagine losing her own mother and the pain it would bring her father. She watched Harley as he comforted Baekhyun, "So, how do you know each other?"

"Baekhyun works for me and my puddin'!" Harley said and then looked at the young girl, "What's your name?"

The young girl looked at her father who said, "Don't worry. You can tell them your name...I trust them."

"Very well, my name is Kim Jisoo...but you can just call me Jisoo, daughter of Byun Baekhyun and Kim Taeyeon." She pulled herself together but Eunjung could see that Jisoo was just trying to be strong too which Eunjung just shook her head. So she went to Jisoo.

"My name is Lee Eunjung...like you, I took my mother's maiden name. I don't want you to act strong because that's what you think your mother would want. It's okay to cry. It's okay to grieve but when push comes to shove, be strong for your father..." The words Eunjung spoke made Jisoo cry the rest of her tears in Eunjung's arms. Otherwise...you become like Joker or even Katana.
