Better Together - (One Direction fanfic by Kaitlynn)

CHAPTER SIX

"So, uhm..." Harry began, "you ladies know a good place where we could  basically, like have a bite?"  "Yeah,"  Zayn rubbed his stomach and checked his reflection in a passing window, "I'm starving." They'd been walking around Union Square for a little while. Jackie and Kaitlynn showed them the "hearts" of San Francisco, where they took goofy tourist pictures. Harry was pretty much straddling the sculpture. The boys even followed the girls into a giant Victoria's Secret across the street. Jackie and Kaitlynn had just wanted to get some body mist, but the boys ventured deeper into the store. Jackie found them fifteen minutes later, trying on some cheetah print bras and throwing bras of all sizes everywhere. Even Liam. Niall had a purple bra strapped around his face, obviously Louis' doing.  Harry danced around with like three cheetah bras strapped to his chest while Josh video taped him. Paul did not approve, the paparazzi got too many juicy pictures, but he was good natured about it. Even after Zayn's magnificent hair was messed up from a barrage of sparkly double-Ds thrown by Liam. Kaitlynn and Jackie were laughing so hard, Kaitlynn actually choked. Soon they were kicked out of a store for the second time. Even with famous people at their sides. It was little times like this, when everyone was laughing, Jackie would catch Josh looking at her. She would meet his eyes, he would look away. This had been going on the whole time. Though it was a teensy bit weird, Jackie couldn't say she minded his attention. "Umm...well one of our best friends family owns this AMAZING little cafe," Kaitlynn was saying, "It's a few blocks away in an alley though...Oh...but I dont know if it'll fit all of..." she trailed off in shock as she looked over her shoulder. "Well there's only," Liam counted quickly, "nine of us right?" Kaitlynn shook her head silently and pointed. There was a gathering mob of girls coming up behind them. Screaming and pointing quickly followed. They were a couple blocks away. "Looks like the pictures got out..." Jackie said weakly.
