"...I want, I want, I want, but that's crazy." Jackie groaned and buried her head deeper in the soft pillow. Her ringtone had been blasting from the bedside table. Jackie pressed the phone to her ear, "Hello?" she said sleepily. "JACKIE WAKE UUUUP!" Kaitlynn's excited voice pierced her eardrums, "Been calling you ALL MORNING!" Jackie rolled out of bed groggily, "Sorry! Where've you been?" They'd been living together at a nice condo unit in L.A. since their tour with the boys ended last week. Jackie couldn't believe it was over. A year of touring...She was still reeling from Simon's offer last week: to sign them at SYCO records. A new beginning for them. "I was ordered to leave," Kaitlynn said mysteriously. Jackie blinked, puzzled, "Huh?" "I knew you'd forget the date, dumbass," Kaitlynn snickered. Jackie swore she heard the boys giggling in the background. Jackie grumbled--Suddenly she heard noises from the kitchen and noticed a delicious smell wafting in the room. "Wait, wait guys," Jackie whispered frantically into the phone, "Holy shit, I think there's someone here." Laughter poured through the phone, so the boys WERE with Kaitlynn! "No, I'm serious!" Jackie grabbed her kindle off the bedside table, in case she had to hit an intruder. "Hang UP already, Kaitlynn! She's gonna love it!" Marlo's voice came faintly through the phone. "Wait what?" Jackie whispered, but the line went dead. Jackie crept into the kitchen, ready to call 9---"Morning, beautiful," Josh looked amazing as ever; standing in the kitchen, a plate of pancakes in his hands. Jackie gaped. The kitchen looked beautiful. Roses everywhere and the large window open, letting sunlight in. "I uh," Josh grinned sheepishly, "I made real pancakes this time." Jackie stared at him, realization dawning, today was--"Happy anniversary Jackie," Josh leaned down and kissed her, morning breath and all. "Oh my god, Josh..." Jackie giggled, "I haven't even brushed my teeth!" Josh shrugged and handed her a plate, "That doesn't make you any less amazing." Jackie giggled and sighed, "Thank you, for everything," she took her first bite of a pancake, "My god...these are actually good!" They laughed and sat down in front of the window. Jackie sighed happily, this was perfect. Josh took her hand, "I know this is cheesy...but look out the window." Jackie raised her eyebrows questioningly, but did it anyway. "Oh Josh..." she gasped, an airplane was spelling her name in the blue L.A. sky, "I thought this only happened in movies" Jackie giggled and turned back to face him, "You are the--" Josh looked nervous, "Keep looking," he squeezed her hand. Jackie gave him a confused look before turning her attention back to the plane. "'Jackie,'" she read aloud, "Will...you...mar--" she whipped around, mouth open. Josh was nervously grinning, holding out a beautiful sparking ring, "I know it's only been a year, but--" Jackie put a finger on his lips, "Yes. A million times, yes. I love you Josh Devine, always have and always will."
