CHAPTER SEVEN

Louis sighed and ran a hand through his some how perfectly messy hair, "Well lads...and lasses," nodding at Jackie and Kaitlynn, "I guess we should probably...run," he grinned mischievously. The screaming mob was getting closer, "OH MY GOD!" "It IS them!" "LEMME SEE!!" Kaitlynn suppressed a smartass retort and pointed toward the cafe, "FOR NARNIA!!" she yelled, ignoring strange looks. The boys laughed and started running away. Damn, they were fast. Jackie was keeping up, but barely. Her damned bad knee was acting up again. Kaitlynn looked back with a worried expression. Surprisingly, so did Josh. God he was gorgeous. He was turning around. Wait...why? She was so busy staring at him she forgot to turn at the corner...and ran straight into a wall. Smooth Jackie, real smooth, she thought in a daze. Trying to steady herself, Jackie tripped backwards...and into a strong pair of arms. "Whaaa..?" she groaned, adjusting her glasses hurriedly. "Ah uh are you okay?" it was Josh, "hurry, they're way ahead of us." Jackie tried to stand but she couldn't really hold herself upright. "Oh umm okay..." Josh seemed to be debating with himself, "here, get on my back." Jackie looked at him, confused, "Whaat?" she drawled. Josh sighed, "Ever heard of a piggyback ride?" Jackie suppressed a giggle as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Josh grabbed her legs and hoisted her onto his back, "Jesus you're  small." Jackie was giggling now, blush creeping up to her face. God what was wrong with her? She never GIGGLED like that. Must be the fall...or maybe the fact that Josh's hands...were grabbing her bare thighs. "Hold on tight okay?" He spoke nonchalantly, as if this were the most normal thing in the world. She nodded and buried her face in the crook of his shoulder as he started running. The mob was right behind them now. Cameras were going wild. The sheer amount of people almost made words incoherent. Almost. "OH MY GOD, THAT'S JOSH!!" "WHERE'RE THE BOYS?" "WHO THE HELL'S ON HIS BACK?!" "I thought he had a girlfriend!!" Jackie's head snapped up, she felt her whole body tense. Girlfriend?!
