CHAPTER FOUR

"Obviously I'm gonna eat Asian food," Kaitlynn stated matter-of-factly. She's so Asian, Jackie chuckled to herself. Kaitlynn headed toward the noodle booth and came back with a steaming bowl of well...noodles. Jackie got a steak sandwich from Buckhorn, those are heavenly. They sat eating and chatting about nothing at the greasy mall tables when what was just background music coming from the mall loudspeakers became a familiar guitar line..."You're insecure," Liam's voice barely being heard over all the eating people, "don't know what for..." But they heard. Jackie's eyes grew wide. Kaitlynn grinned like a maniac. "YOURE TURNIN HEADS," they started singing--no--SCREAMING, and jumped on the table, "WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE DO-O-ORR!" While they continued scream singing the lyrics and badly dancing on the table top, everyone in the room was silently staring, some even had their phones out, video taping. Jackie stained her VANS dedicated to Josh Devine with steak sauce and they knocked food off the table, but it was so worth it. "SO GIRL C'MON," security guards were approaching fast, "YOU GOT IT WRO--OH SHIT KAITLYNN!" Jackie yelled and they jumped off the table. One of the bigger guards approached them, "I'm sorry girls," his booming voice dripped with annoyance, "You're being a disturbance, I'm going to have to ask you to leave the mall." The girls were escorted by two security personnel out to the street. Soon as they were outside, the giggles started. Which soon turned into full blown laughing attacks. Stares from passerby went unnoticed by the crazy laughing girls practically rolling on the street. Finally, Kaitlynn got up, "SOO um I guess we can't shop anymore..." She snickered and gathered her now messy hair into a high ponytail. Jackie brushed the sidewalk dust from her patterned skirt and pulled out her iPhone, "twitzaa...AHH! MANNA The boys are out exploring the Bay Area before the show tomorrow!" Jackie started jumping up and down excitedly. Kaitlynn wasn't really listening, she was shaking her fist at the mall doors, "YOU MAY STOP US FROM SHOPPING MR. SECURITY POO. BUT YOU CAN'T STOP US FROM SINGING!!" her rumpled striped skirt and disheveled shirt made her seem just a tad...unwell in the head. Jackie was sure she didn't look much better though. "TO PROVE IM RIGHT," Kaitlynn ran down the street singing where they'd left off, "I PUT IT IN A SO-O-ONG!" Jackie laughed and ran up beside her. They probably looked like drunks. They DID look like drunks. "BABY YOU LIGHT UP MY WORLD LIGHT NOBODY ELSE" they ran around downtown pointing at random strangers and singing their hearts out, "THE WAY THAT YOU FLIP YOUR HAIR GETS ME OVERWHELMED!" They were pointing at an old lady in Union Square, hopefully making her feel beautiful. "BUT WHEN YOU SMILE AT THE GROUND IT AIN'T HARD TO TELL," Jackie randomly decided to sing a harmony note, they were both musically talented, "YOU DON'T KNOW OH OHH YOU DON'T KNOW YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL!" The old lady's clapping was suddenly cut off by some clearing of throats behind them. Jackie and Kaitlynn turned and stared openmouthed at the little crowd of seven people, who had apparently been watching. "Uhm so what was that you were singing there loves?" Harry Styles asked, smiling cheekily.
