that was the last hamilton oneshot (most likely)

ik i said i wanted to keep writing hamilton but i just can't keep writing something i'm no longer in love with, y'kno?

now i'm not saying i hate hamilton, because i don't!

i've thought about this for a while (even before i got into homestuck!!) because i've had a bad experience with the fandom before (not all people, but a few) and i've fought tooth and nail over a ship before!! (i'll get into this more later)

i've watched a ship i used to love be fetished to the sun and back within this fandom because "oh my gosh it's a mlm ship!!!" and when i state this fact people come after me!!!

i'm sick of being in a fandom that i'm scared to interact with

no one should ever be afraid to interact with other fans

i don't want to be dealing with it any longer

like i said, all the books i've written for this fandom will stay up

group of idiots will be stopped at 100 chapters (i already have 77 done so there's only 23 chapters left of it)

this book will either be changed to fit the fandom i wish to write for now or will be marked as completed, have author's notes deleted, and not be updated again (or author's notes will stay in and have this be marked as completed)

will i ever come back to the fandom?

i'm honestly not sure

i truly don't have much interest in it anymore, and i don't wish to stay in a fandom for something i'm no longer into!

if you wanted more for me, i apologize

i just can't keep loving something that's started to take my life away

i'm a teenager

i have friends

i have a job

and i'm in high school

i've been glued down to my phone for so long writing this stuff, going as far as ignoring friends/not going outside/not getting enough sleep because i've been writing

i have just a few more things i wanna say when it comes to my experience with this fandom, so don't get all fired up yet

i've literally watched characters who had an actor with a darker skin color (ex: hercules mulligan) be pushed to the side in favor of characters who have actors with a lighter skin color (ex: john "pure cinnamon roll turtle boy" laurens)

now, i don't mean hate towards people who like laurens, but if you need any proof on this point, go and read a post on tumblr by washingtononyourside who explained why the fandom is full of racism just because of who the actors are, and just how amazing darker skinned characters (like angelica and hercules) are

don't get me wrong, i love anthony and he's a great guy, but i bet he would hate to see how his character is portrayed by the fandom
