Elizabeth Schuyler stared down at her hands that were placed on her lap, gently pressed against her rounding belly, her fingers intertwined together. A nervous habit of hers, showing that she was scared. She wasn't sure what to do anymore. She had been thrown out of her own apartment, all because the asshole she used to call a boyfriend didn't want a baby. She sighs and stares at her stuff next to her, noticing a photo.

She pulls her hands apart and leans to grab it, staring at it. Congratulations class of 2010! Was written at the bottom of the wooden frame and Eliza leaned back against the brick wall, glancing over every face before stopping and staring at one. Alexander Hamilton. God seeing his eyes again, even if they had probably aged a ton eight years, still got her heart racing. God she missed him. She wondered if he missed her. Pff, a silly thought. She had never been very trusting of him, and the last time she saw him she kissed him before running away.

God, he didn't even kiss her back when she kissed him back then. She sighs and sets the photo down on top of a box and pulls another box close, pulling out her graduation cap. She plays with it a bit before something falls out, making her blink. She picks up the folded piece of paper and starts unfolding it. When she finished doing so, she started to read over the text.

Valedictorian,

Hey, remember me? Ha, probably not by now. Or maybe you do. I have no clue when you'll read this, or if you'll find it. Anyways, hey! It's me, Alexander. The jerk who single handedly almost messed up your whole life by becoming valedictorian. If you're wondering; I'm probably just fine! I hope you're okay though. I wonder where you'll be when you read this. Either way, I think I'll be staying in New York after college, so you should come try and find me. Haha, you don't have to though. I can't write too much, since I have no clue what to say. I guess: I love you and I really hope you keep being you.

Love,
A. Hamilton

She smiles and blushes, refolding the letter and putting it in her pocket. She then gets up and grabs her phone from on top of a box and texts her best friend Theodosia, just asking the woman to pick up her stuff before heading off to find Alexander. She was going to talk to him! She got to the corner before stopping. She was pregnant. She couldn't walk all the way across the city. She walks back over to her stuff and sits down. She'll ask Theodosia to drive her around, and she'll work from there.

Alexander Hamilton was laying on the roof of his car, staring at the night sky. Sure, he couldn't see the stars but he didn't mind. He sighed after a few more minutes and closed his eyes. He hadn't changed much since highschool, he just matured a bit and worked much harder. For now, he was just laying down and thinking.

He could have stayed like that all night, but someone showed up. He sat up and looked at the newcomer, his heartbeat picking up. He smirked and leaned over the roof of the car slightly, coming face to face with her. "Well hey there Valedictorian. What did I do to be graced with your presence after eight years?" He asks.

Eliza blushes and gulps. "I... I got your letter." She whispers. He blinks and thinks back, tapping his chin before snapping.

"The one in the cap? Jeez, way to take forever." He teases, causing her to blush even more. "What about i--" His question is cut off as she presses her lips to his. His face flushed and he noticed that her lips still tasted of doughnut glaze. She either ate a lot of doughnuts or that was a natural taste. Either way, he loved it. He couldn't kiss back in his current position, so he waited for her to pull away. She did after a few more seconds and she shook her head.

She went to say something before sighing and starting to walk away, dejected. He hopped off the top of his car and ran after her, grabbing her hand. He spun her around, placed his hands on her shoulders, and kissed her. Her eyes widened in shock but she quickly closed them, kissing back. He moved his hands down to her waist, pulling her close to him and she wrapped her arms around his neck. He could feel her baby bump but he didn't care. He pulls away after almost a minute and grins.

"So Valedictorian, now what?"

"Can we give us a shot? I know you can probably tell that I'm expecting and--" He kisses her quickly, causing her face to turn red.

"All I care is that you're mine. I'll take whatever is included in that package."

She gets teary eyed and hugs him tightly, burying her face in his chest. He rocks her back and forth gently, humming. "I love you." She whispers against his chest, causing him to smile.

"I love you too, Valedictorian."
