Rose's POV.

"I just feel like I'm getting nowhere Lucy." I exclaimed.

I was halfway through my day at work. The sun was beaming through the tall glass windows and the breeze was lightly blowing through the trees. I had always liked this time of afternoon. Its all the same to me now. I have no interest in anything. Even friendships or love. Love has always seemed so cliché to me. The strong smell of freshly brewed coffee began burn my nose. It was nauseating but comforting at the same time. Lucy and I had been talking about my problems for hours now. Work was beginning to feel like a therapy session. Time and time again Lucy would ask if I would finally start dating. She'd try to get me to go to party's so I could hook up with desperate fuckboys who only have interest in breaking girls hearts. Obviously, I'd never turn up to these so called 'amazing' parties. I know she means well, but sometimes she can be really annoying. Like I said before. I have no interest in it.

Before I knew it, time had flown by and my shift was coming to an end. I took off my apron and went to collect my bag from the back room. "annyeonghi gaseyo" Lucy said waving me goodbye. 

"annyeonghi gyeseyo" I waved back as I headed out the door. The bell clanging as I went.

The cool air blew against my face and through my hair. I love this feeling. Petals from the cherry blossom trees danced and scattered themselves gently on the floor. It's times like this where I think that maybe I don't need to worry about going and getting nowhere. Do I really need anyone other than myself? I plugged my headphones in my ears and strolled through the park, slowly taking in the breathtaking view. Maybe if I allow myself to love the right man will show up..? No.. It should stay like this. Just me, the wind and the petals.

Sorry that this isn't very long. I just kinda wanted to set the scene and show what rose was like before I introduced Jae ;) I dunno how often I'll update since I have school and I get a severe case of writer's block. So if you ever have any ideas about what should happen next then please comment or message me. :)
