Rose's POV.

That whole week Jaehyun had been spamming me with messages trying to get me to answer. I refused. Even though it may have been petty, I was mad and nothing was going to change that. I knew from the start that I shouldn't get involved with an idol. I wasn't just ignoring him because I was mad. It was because he was better off without me being his distraction. My mood had been low ever since he stood me up. I may know in my head that liking him wasn't a good idea, but my heart wouldn't allow me to stop. I really liked him. I used work and Yuta as a distraction during the day, but at night I couldn't get him out of my mind. I snapped out of my thoughts as I spilled a customer's coffee down my shirt. "Shit" I screamed and quickly ran into the back room to clean up. Maybe work wasn't a good enough distraction. I changed into my spare uniform and decided to sit down for a minute. My head was pounding, and I really just wanted to go home. I looked at my phone to see messages from Yuta and Jaehyun.

I sighed as I debated if I should open Jaehyun's messages. Knowing that letting him explain wouldn't change anything, I opened Yuta's message and began to text him.

Yuta:
Hey Rose,
Wanna meet up and get some cake? I'm fancying it and I have nobody else to go with🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😂

Rose:
Just come to my work idiottt
I'm on a shift right now. If you come I can eat with you when I come off.😂

Yuta:
DEAL.
SEE YOU IN A BIT!!

Rose:
See you weirdo😂

Maybe Yuta could cheer me up?
