Rose's POV.

Yuta and I decided to go to the carnival that happened every year. The air was filled with adrenaline and the smell of cotton candy. Happy kids ran around with lollypops and toys that they had won. Yuta smiled at the amazed look on my face. "What shall we do first?" he said excitedly, turning to face me as he spoke. My eyes scanned the park. I spotted a knock the can stall and immediately pointed to it. "Thatttttt oneee. I want to win a bear Yuta" I said, my eyes crinkling as I smiled. He smiled back at me, nodded then grabbed my arm and ran towards the stall.

I huffed with an annoyed look on my face. I just couldn't do it. I knew I was bad at aiming, but I never knew I was this bad. The tall, smiling boy stood behind me giggling as I failed to hit the can. I turned around with a glare on my face. "If you think its so easy, do it" I spoke. He smirked and grabbed the ball out of my hand and aimed for the cans, knocking them over in one shot. "See easy," he said, the smirk on his face doubling in size. I crossed my arms and pouted. Yes, I may have seemed like a little kid, but at that moment I didn't care. I was happy. "Hmph I'm sorry Mr know it all," I said shooting a smile towards him. I turned around and admired how beautiful the scenery was. Red lights hung around the place making it seem majestic. Funky music blasted out of the carnival rides and screams and laughs from happy teenagers echoed. I felt someone tap on my shoulder so I turned around. "Here, this is for you," Said Yuta as he handed me a huge teddy bear with a red bow around its neck. My eyes lit up and my cheeks raised as I smiled. "Thank you so much," I said, hugging Yuta and taking the bear. I almost cried at how happy I was.

Before we knew it we had been on almost every ride and it was time to walk home. Yuta was such a sweet person and I knew I could trust him. Jaehyun on the other hand, I wasn't so sure. I was still upset that he had ditched me. I was right about me getting involved in his career. It really wasn't a good idea. I sighed as I checked my phone to see if he had messaged me. Nothing. And to think I was beginning to think that letting him In could be a good idea.

Yuta and I walked down the street in silence, nibbling on cotton candy and drinking our slushies. "Thank you Yuta," I said as I stopped walking. "For taking me out and making sure I was okay. It means a lot." He turned around and enveloped me in his arms, the smell of his cologne entering my nose. "It's okay Rose. It was my pleasure" he whispered. I didn't know how to feel. I didn't get the butterflies like I did with Jaehyun, but something about Yuta felt so comfortable.

I stayed up the rest of the night thinking about what had happened that day. I was upset, angry and confused. I didn't like this feeling.
