Rose's POV

I walked home the night before with butterflies in my stomach and confusion in my brain. No matter how much I felt like I liked Jaehyun, I knew that would never allow myself to fall fully. It's simple. I avoid anything that could end up with me getting hurt or me hurting others. That way was better for everybody. Jaehyun and I had exchanged numbers. With the promise that he would text me, I kept my phone close. 'He must be busy' I thought. I didn't have work today so I decided to watch some videos of Jaehyun and check out his band. After around half an hour of watching music videos, I was awe. He was so damn talented, his voice was like butter and when he danced it felt like I was watching petals dancing in the wind. Watching him made butterflies burst around my chest and stomach, but I just couldn't stop

. 'He must have many girls after him' I frowned. 'Whatever it's not like I had a chance anyway' I didn't understand how he would ever fall for a mess like me, so I pushed the butterflies away and decided to take a bubble bath.

As I was soaking in the soap suds, the sweet smell of strawberry shampoo filling my nose, my phone started to ring.

"Hello?"

"Roseee it's me Jaehyun, I just called to ask you how your day was" My heart started to race with happiness. I knew I shouldn't be feeling this way about someone I had only just met, but I couldn't help it. He was captivating. "Hiya Jae, It was pretty boring. How was yours?" I giggled. Shit, I giggled. I immediately slapped my forehead, annoyed with myself. "Ahh Jae huh? Cute nickname. We were busy writing songs in the studio today. It's really worn me out so I wanted to hear your voice" If my heart wasn't racing before, it definitely was now. We talked about random things for ages. It seemed like we never ran out of things to say. I liked that. After half an hour had passed Jaehyun had to go. 

I got into my PJs and climbed into bed. I was going crazy thinking about Jaehyun. I didn't want to feel like this. Before I fell asleep my phone vibrated telling me I had a message.

MESSAGE FROM Jaehyun~

Jaehyun~ : Sleep tight :)

That night I fell asleep with a blush on my cheeks and a fuzzy felling in my chest.
