Jaehyun's POV.

I decided to answer the message in the morning. Maybe then we could meet up and sort this mess out. I wanted her to understand that I never intended to miss our date. And maybe she wanted to explain to me about Yuta. I slept peacefully that night knowing that Rose was sorry and that it would all be sorted soon.

I woke up to the sound of birds tweeting outside my window and a pounding headache racking against my brain. Groaning, I climbed out of bed and got dressed. Knowing that Yuta would have a busy schedule today and that I could sneak out, I messaged Rose asking to meet.

Jae:
I think we need to talk and
I really want to explain.
Could you meet me at the park?

🌹:
Of course..
I'll be there soon.

The feeling of excitement rose in my chest. I really couldn't wait to see her. I sprinted out the door with a wide smile on my face.

Rose's POV

I sat on the park bench waiting for Jaehyun to arrive. My heart fluttered when he messaged me. I didn't think he'd want to talk to me after what had happened; most people would have walked away and not even bothered to try and deal with it. I wouldn't blame him if he did that. I knew that my anxiety isn't something people have to deal with, but I am always grateful when they try. I'm a difficult person and it worried me that difficult wasn't what Jaehyun needed or wanted.

Around 10 minutes had past, and I was getting more nervous every second. My palms were sweating and my heart felt like it was going to come out of my throat. Family's had begun to pack up their picnics and the groups of teenagers began to leave. I studied everyone that entered, hoping that it was Jaehyun so my nerves would stop. I sighed and looked up to see the man that made my heart race walking through the gates with a bouquet in his hands.
