April 14th, 11:33pm

We ran through the dark ship, laughing as we went. After the events of the night before, our relationship had only grown. So we ran together, holding hands. Sometimes we crashed into things, sometimes we narrowly missed. Altogether, it was fun. We ran out onto deck, and stood where we were last night.

April 14th, 11:34pm

Stars twinkled above, stars sparkled brightly, casting a warm glow on our skin.

"I love you, Frank." He said simply.

"I love you too." I replied.

It was a beautiful night.

April 14th, 11:35pm

"We should run away, just you and me." Gerard whispered, conjuring words out of the silence.

"What do you mean?"

"Frank, leave your family. Come with me." He turned to me, expecting an answer.

"Okay." Our conversations were short, and sombre, like the quiet night ahead of us.

April 14th, 11:36pm

Not much was happening that night. Other than the stars above and the sea below us, we were truly alone. It really was a beautiful night.

April 14th, 11:37pm

"What's that, over there?" I motioned to a white silouhette on the horizon.

"I'm sure it's just a cloud, Frank." Gerard replied. I shrugged.

"Okay."

It was still a beautiful night.

April 14th, 11:38pm

"Are you sure it's a cloud, Gee?" I ask, starting to worry about the white shape that was growing.

"Calm down, Frank. I think it might be an iceberg, you get lots of them out here."

"What if we hit it? It looks big."

"We won't."

I looked up to the watchtower, to see two men watching us intently. They noticed me looking, then started wandering around and whistling. I smiled happily.

"We seem to have and audience."

Gerard laughed. It was a beautiful night.

April 14th, 11:39pm

The dark shape of the iceberg loomed over us, yet Gerard was completely calm. I gulped.

"Imagine if a piece of ice falls off, and kills the both of us." He murmured.

"You're really helping my nerves, Gee." I reply. He laughed at me.

It was a beautiful night.

April 14th, 11:40pm

The ship shuddered, throwing us off our feet.

"What's happening, Gee?" I yell. He turned to me, eyes wide.

"I think... I think we hit the iceberg Frank."

"Hopefully it didn't damage anything."

"Hopefully..."

It wasn't a beautiful night.
