Chapter 25

Sasuke's POV
I opened my eyes as rays of sunshine slipped past the curtains. I looked down at where Natalie was sleeping peacefully in my arm. I pressed my lips against her cheek and went to get up, but I felt arms wrap around me and pull me down to the bed. Natalie was holding me in a tight grip and buried her face in my chest. I just smiled and kissed her forehead seeing as she was smiling as well. "Natalie c'mon I need to get up." I whispered tucking a strand of her white hair behind her ear. "Fine." She muttered releasing me from her grip and replacing me with a pillow. "I'm making breakfast, anything you want?" I asked. "For you to come cuddle." She said looking up at me. "How about we go to Ichiraku." I suggested. "Sure let me get ready." She said getting up and walking out of the room. I just shook my head and let out a chuckle. I got dressed and Natalie was waiting for me in her usual anbu outfit. "Shall we?" I asked. She nodded and we started to walk to Ichiraku. "Hey Natalie." I heard a voice say. I looked down and saw Konohamaru who was now standing in front of Natalie. I watched as she crouched down and hugged him and kissed his forehead. I smiled at them and thought about Natalie as a mother. She would definitely make a good one if she acted like this to only Konohamaru. "I'll see you later Konohamaru, tell Udon and Moegi I say hello." She said before he ran off. "Y'know you would make a really good mother." I said as we walked into the newly built Ichiraku. "Are you trying to hint at something Sasuke." She retorted making me blush. She started to laugh and nudged me playfully. I rolled my eyes and tried to cover my face with my hand. "Natalie and Sasuke, never thought I'd see the day." We heard Teuchi say. "You know I can't stay away from Ramen." Natalie said rubbing the back of her neck. I smiled and heard the loud shouts of Naruto. He walked in and clapped me on the back. Natalie hugged him and I grumbled lightly, but it still caught Natalie's attention. "Don't be jealous Sasuke, Naruto is like a brother." She whispered before smirking. I blushed and she smiled at my embarrassment. "So Sasuke when are you leaving?" Naruto asked. "Tomorrow." I replied. "That's so sudden." Natalie said looking at me. "Why didn't you tell me?" She asked anger slightly in her tone. "I didn't think it was important." I replied taking a bite of my food. "That's the problem you didn't think!" She snapped. "Naruto you can have my ramen." She added paying for our meal. "Jeez, you messed up. Nothing stops Natalie and her ramen." Naruto said looking at me. I face palmed and looked in the direction of where Natalie had walked off. I finished my meal and walked back to Natalie's apartment and opened the door to hear soft crying. I immediately ran into Natalie's room almost falling in the process. "Hey, hey it's okay." I said walking over to her and tried pulling her close to me. She put her hand on my chest and pushed me away and buried herself underneath her blankets. "I really thought you cared about me Sasuke." I could hear her mutter. I snatched the blankets off of her and forced her onto my lap. She tried to push me away, but I kept a tight grip on her. She tried to hit me lightly so I would let go, but I didn't budge. "Look at me Natalie." I ordered. She looked at me and my gaze softened as I saw her eyes puffy from crying. "I care about you more than anything in the world. Don't you ever think that I don't care about you." I said softly. She buried her face in the crook of my neck and hugged me tightly. I wrapped my arm around her and she let out a shaky breath. "I just got you back, I can't lose you again." She murmured. "You aren't going to lose me. I'll write you as often as I can." I explained looking into her blue eyes which held so much emotion. "Natalie I will come back in six months until then we'll be apart, but don't think for even a second that I don't love you, that I don't miss you. I might not show it, but I want to spend every moment of my life with you, holding you, kissing you, hearing your voice." Natalie kissed me passionately and I kissed back with as much passion as I could muster. "I'll miss you, but I'll wait for you, because it's worth it." She told me. I nodded and I cuddled her close to me. "What are you doing?" She asked. "You said earlier that you wanted to cuddle." I whispered kissing her temple. I spooned her gently and she took my hand and kissed it gently. "Natalie?" I questioned after a few minutes. She didn't respond so I presumed she was sleeping. I slowly got out of bed and got a blanket and covered us with it. "I wasn't asleep." She mumbled. I ignored her comment and nuzzled my face in the crook of her neck. "You smell good." I whispered. She chuckled at my comment and messed with my hair. "You smell good too Sasuke." She replied sarcastically. I smirked and slowly felt more tired.

Kakashi's POV
I picked up all of Sasuke's new clothes for Natalie, but didn't see Natalie or Sasuke in the living room or kitchen. I walked into her bedroom quietly and noticed her and Sasuke cuddling in each other's arms. I smiled at the sight and grabbed Natalie's camera and snapped a picture of them. 'She'll thank me later' I thought to myself while cheekily smiling. "Get out of my room Kakashi." I heard Natalie whisper. "How did you even know I was in here?" I asked quietly. "I could sense your chakra from the living room." She muttered. I just shook my head and smiled underneath my mask. "I'll put his clothes in the guest room." I whispered closing the door behind me and setting down Sasuke's clothes in the room. I walked out and laughed to myself. "What a bunch of love birds." I spoke.
