The Weekend:
The weekend rolled around pretty fast. Me and Sal got into the car and blasted music on the way. We began with The Beatles, then Imagine Dragons and ended on listening to the radio.
Once we reached the cabin, we took our bags from the car and dumped them onto the floor by the front door. We both excitedly ran around the cabin checking out each and every room. Sal enjoyed this experience more than a hotel as he wouldn't have Joe changing the temperatures to annoy him.
After checking out the place we decided to unpack everything then head out for a walk on the beach near to us. It was gone 6pm and the sun was setting. Me and Sal walked hand in hand across the landscape of the beach. The sun lying across the wavy sea. I rested my head on Sal's shoulder as we walked.
"It's beautiful isn't it" Sal said, looking across at the sea.
"It really is" I replied with a smile.Sal's POV

Across the distance I saw a stack of rocks which overlooked the sea (like in the picture above!) and it looked the perfect spot. We strolled along the beach and I stopped and held both of her hands as we reached the spot. The nerves in my stomach were going insane, but I loved her, and I wanted to spend all my life with her. She was all that mattered.
