Our Wedding Day!
The day was finally here. I was dressed in my milk white dress. I stared into the mirror with a smile as I straightened up my dress. I was smiling at the thought of marrying the one guy who I've ever actually loved. Sal was my world and the thought of spending the rest of my life with him was truly amazing.
"We are ready!" Emma (my best friend) informed me. We walked down the corridor leading up the the big doors where the guests and Sal were. My dad took my arm to walk me down the aisle, with Emma and my mum behind. The piano began to play, as a shower of nerves rushed through my body.
"Are you ready?" My dad asked.
I nodded as the doors swung open. Arm in arm, me and my dad walked down the aisle. Immediately I saw Sal's green eyes, stare deeply into mine. He smiled widely, and I did the same. Once I reached the end of the aisle, I stood opposite him, holding both of hands. We could see the nerves on eachother, which oddly made us feel more relaxed.
After exchanging vows, the officiant began
"Will you, Sal, take this woman to be your wedded wife?" The officiator asked Sal.
Sal took a deep breath and smiled.
"I do" Sal replied.
"Will you, Katy, take this man to be your wedded husband?" The officiator asked me. I smiled at Sal
"I do" I replied.
"I know pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride" The officiator said to us. Sal wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me in closely for a long passionate kiss.
"The beginning of the rest of our lives" Sal whispered to me.
