1 week until the wedding!
Katy's POV

I had my dress picked out and Sal had his tux picked out. We had everything planned except for the cake. In all honesty, we weren't aiming for a fancy cake, just a decent one for our guests to enjoy. Me and Sal decided to go into town today, to a cake shop and see if anything takes our fancy.

We walked through town, hand in hand, walking past multiple cake shops until one peeked our interest. We walked through the brown doors into a mini bakery, to see many cakes on display. We took a little look around until a friendly baker came up to us with a wide smile.
"Hey, how can I help you?" She asked me and Sal. She kept smiling at Sal, but I tried not to let it bother me.
"Me and my beautiful fiancée are looking for a wedding cake... quickly" Sal informed her.
"Well my name is Julie and I'm available to help!" She said to us with a smile. She stood behind the counter as me and Sal looked round, but she wouldn't stop staring. Now it was beginning to annoy me. Me and Sal went around the bakery still holding hands, but behind us I could see her staring. 'Maybe she was a fan?' I thought.
"She's staring at you non stop" I whispered to Sal's ear.
He turned around to look.
"So?" He asked. "I love you" he replied. Sal then turned me around so we were face to face and gave me a kiss. Sal turned round to see Julie with her head tucked down, avoiding eye contact.
"There she has stop staring" Sal said to me with a wink. I loved it when he did that. I smiled, but Julie soon walked over to us.
"Which cake?" She asked with a forced smile.
"We would like a tres leches cake please!" We requested. She nodded and booked the cake in the diary for our wedding day.
'Nothing can go wrong now!' I thought.
