Darren and I hardly talked after that. I woke up to his arm around my waist and went to sleep on the couch. I made breakfast at 8 in the morning amd we sat in silence. I put sweats on and packed my party clothes so I could get ready with the girls. Darren attempted to talk to me once, but I just ignored him. I was disgusted with him right now and couldnt wait for him to leave tomorrow.
We got in the car at noon to get ready at the Starkid Manor. Thats when Darren started acting like nothing was wrong. he held my hand in the car and when he rang the doorbell, he put his arm around my waist. Lauren answered, wearing a sloppy tshirt and a towel around her waist with a toothbrush sticking out of her mouth. I went to get ready with her, but Darren pulled me into the living room.
There he was, sitting on the couch. His usual hat on, with a white wifebeater on and boxers. He looked like he had just been smiling before we walked in, but now his eyes were full of concern for me.. I shiver went down my spine as his clear blue eyes peirced me. Darren gripped my waist tighter for a second and then he spun me around so now all I could see was him. He kissed me softly for a second and then he brought his mouth to my ear.
"Go get ready Love."--he said
"Ok.."--I said, feeling myself falling for him a little
I walked off so that I wouldnt hurt Joe anymore. Lauren, Julia, Meredith, Jamie and I all got ready together. First, Julia did all of our hair, mine was curled except my bangs were straightened. Then Jamie did all the makeup, I had smokey ash eye shadow, black eyeliner, a light pink lipstick, and a light blush. Next we all got dressed. I wore a tight black dress that stopped midthigh with one sleeve, and silver high heels. Then I put a silver headband on to hold my hair back, except my bangs. Not to be cocky, but I looked really sexy. Lauren wore a strapless gold sparkly dress that also stopped midthigh, Julia wore a aqua colored dress that flowed to her knees, Meredith wore a pink dress that flowed midthigh, and Jamie wore a lime green tight dress that stopped right above her knees. We all looked amazing!! Somehow we had managed to spend four and a half hours prepping. It was now 5 o clock. Now it was time to grab some dinner before clubbin.
We walked down stairs and Darren emerged from the living room in a black dress shirt and pants with a silver tie. I know we were at an extremely rough spot right now, but we looked like the perfect couple. He pulled me close to him and rested hus forehead on mine with a smile.
"You look absolutely beautiful Lils."
"and you look very handsome Dare."
We walked out to the car and Lauren, Meredith, and Brian H. came with us. I was ready for a fun night with Darren, but if Joe crossed my path, I would ditch Darren, no more toying around with both.
