Wizard and Witch

A wizard and witch

Battling in the woods

The cloud of smoke cleared

And there one stood

Alone and accomplished

He walked away

Satisfied, he had saved the day

But his time had run out

For he realized in distray

The witch was alive

And he was about to pay

His mistake had cost him

And he took a heavy blow

Knocked back into a tree

He looked up to face his foe

"You think  I am defeated?

Surely, this is a joke."

The witch then cast a horrid spell

But just like that

I awoke.
