I'm starting a little series in my book called "My Thoughts" because they are my thoughts.
These poems will be free verse, Hope you like them!

The world is a scary place.
I would say I would know but,
I don't.
Truthfully, I don't know what's out there,
I only get secondhand stories.
But what about the people who Do know?
Do they stay up late at night wondering if it will happen again?
It could be anything.
Kidnapper, Assasin, Robber, Murderer
But I don't know anything.
Because I haven't experienced it like the people who have.
And I'm sorry to anyone who went through something like that.
